When you gotta go you gotta go. Nicely done. I remember the first few times talking to the big boys at center. It doesn't take long to get comfortable. I always write down what they say as they say it. It really helped me. Hang in there, it gets easier if not easy to communicate quickly and efficiently. Good job.

Cool video. Nice to hear you talk about IFR related topics for those working on their instrument or PPL's thinking about it. Your co-pilot needs to work on his radio comms. Whenever they gave him more than 2 pieces of info, he forgot something or was tying up the frequency trying to recall it. LOL Just needs practice and maybe write things down. Scratch on the Ipad is very useful for that. Thanks for uploading. Subscribed.

Dave Depilot - Thanks, and I'm the co-pilot! It's true that I need to work on my radio comms. Joe is super helpful as I'm learning, and I figure the only way I'll get better is practice, like you said. Thanks for subscribing.

Absolutely. Practice practice practice. And even do chair flying at home or driving. And making calls like you would in flight. It helped me get more fluid with my responses. I used to do a lot of .... "ummm aaaah.... ummmm". Then I got comfortable at some point. I hope you take my comments as constructive criticism and not offensive.

Nice flying guys. Are you operating under part 135 as a charter ? Noticed there are two pilots that is why I am asking.
@few05097 жыл бұрын
TheAlf61 Nope - just part 91. I sit right seat and have PPL but left seat (Joe) is really flying single pilot since he is the only one that is cleared by insurance to fly the TBM.

They didn't need a pee break they needed a break from copilot chatter! He never shuts up!
