This has become my favorite plane to fly in MSFS2020. Nice to see the real thing. They did a great job of modeling the plane in game.

That is awesome Jason. I am a former Avionics technician and have about 250 hours in Cessna and Bonanza but haven't flown in a long time. My eldest brother recently test flew the 940 to verify the pressurization after the seal was damaged & repaired. He knows I enjoy flying the TBM 930 in MSFS 2020 and sent me a couple pictures of his flight.

Great tour and beautiful aircraft! I’m pretty sure you could fit six passengers in there. It wouldn’t very comfortable, but I’m sure it could work, plus a small bathroom which is rare in planes like this.

Seat question. I’ve asked others, but never got an answer. Why are the backs of the center seats so much lower than the others? I was watching a video on the new 940 and they put a really tall guy in that seat - didn’t look terribly comfortable for him. Maybe I’m missing something and it’s better than it looks. Thanks for this detailed tour, well done. I actually watched it a while back, this was a revisit.
@JasonFlies5 жыл бұрын
The headrests in those can go pretty high, but I always figured they were a bit smaller to make it easier to walk by them when going into the cockpit and maybe to improve visibility from the rear-most seats or from the cockpit when looking at passengers. The rear seats are definitely more comfortable for taller folks though

Beautiful airplane, thanks for sharing👍 However, for the same price range, I’m more into the PC12, rather less speed but more legroom. I would love to hear your point of view. Cheers🍻
@JasonFlies5 жыл бұрын
Yeah, though PC12 costs more than the TBM - but the PC-12 is super comfortable. It is just overkill for my needs, I won't be carrying that many people and things. Love that plane though!
@bettigio5 жыл бұрын
Jason Thanks for your reply👍 One last quesstion: What do you think about the Piper Meridian? I’m considering a single engine turboprop but so many questions🙈
@JasonFlies5 жыл бұрын
@@bettigio I like the one a fair bit, but it is smaller/tigher and I have found that the lack of a pilot door is not ideal - you have to squeeze past your luggage/pax to get up front. And it is a tight squeeze! It is slower, and I think a good part of that is that it effectively has an inertial seperator that is always active (built into the design of the intake). That means one less system to manage but also a constant speed reduction and I assume slightly higher engine temps, at least up in the higher altitudes. I don't have any experience on build quality or maintenance for pipers.
@bettigio5 жыл бұрын
Jason Very well explained, thank you for sharing your point of view. Wish you CAVOK skies👍🛫

Cargo area is not huge, but has worked well for the trips I have made so far. I flew a 900 full of people with luggage and from what I heard they were plenty comfortable for the 2-3 hour flight.

Is the fore pilot door standard on the 900, or still an optional item?
