I worked for TBN when Paul and Jan were getting started internationally. When Matt Crouch was a quiet young fella. The Holy Spirit manifested Himself during these Praise the Lord programs. Paul had such a vision from the Lord. He and Jan were the type of couple who worked WITH God, not FOR Him. A new era arrived with TBN. I really miss these TBN old timer programs. The singing, the praises to His glory. The moving of the Holy Ghost upon his people. The magnitude if faith in the Lord to do the impossible. I love hearing Sylvester Blue sing. Just so awesome! Such praise and worship can just give you the shivers. Coming together on a one to one confrontation directly with the Lord. When genuine men of God cone together, nothing is impossible with God. Nothing!! The Lord is so willing to be among his people. We have much to praise the Lord for!!

I agree wholeheartedly. My Mom and I did the Prayer lines in Florida and always attended live shows. Nothing like it. I suppose we will carry on again with these praise rallies in Heaven! Looking forward.

It"s obvious they were called to this ministry. I watch these reruns much more than tbn now. Things like Joel Osteen being one of their three "Pillars of Faith" is really really a stretch {to be kind). Joseph Prince and Robert Morris are rock solid. I consider Joseph"s place in singapore my home church right now.

Howdy! What city did you work in? I worked with Paul and Jan in Costa Mesa and at the Miami station. Before that, I started at WKOI in Richmond, IN. And when I worked at CNN in Atlanta, I helped Dottie once in a while at WHSG for network Praise.

Again thanks for sharing. What a blessing this was as we all sat around listening to Paul and Jan Souls souls souls, these two were really on fire for The Lord, and all the musical guests, what a time and we took it all for granted, but thanks to you we can re visit them.

I remember this particular episode of the Praise The Lord program. At that time I was working for a TBN affiliate, WTJP-TV 60 in Gadsden, AL. I always enjoyed when Hal Lindsey was a guest and Gene Neill's testimony is still very powerful and inspirational to anybody who will listen. Sylvester Blue's ministry of music, beautiful and soul-stirring. Rabbi Eckstein's advice about having fellowship and instruction of how we share our Christian faith with Jewish people is timeless and is something that we as Christians need to hear today. Thank you (and all involved) for this wonderful program!!!

Solid message by Hal Lindsay. Watching old PTL shows really cheers me up. Like today's channel TBN with Matt and Laurie, some rock solid content and contributors and some not so much. Use discernment...the Spirit will bear witness. Check your Bibles!

Never knew Hal to be so solid on the Gospel of Grace. Kinda shocked to see Paul and Jan react to it! Having studied and lived under the law/grace syndrome for years, great discussion on eternal security, etc. Spot on scriptural references. Ive seen countless great teachers on here for years. Some went a littlle off base over the years to say the least, but ive learned a ton from their earlier years before they got "prosperous."

I’m so glad to see that I’m not the only one frustrated and disappointed in how Matt Crouch has totally ruined the whole network forever. He sold most of the stations. He took “LORD” out of Praise the Lord. He was even selling Jan’s things from the Holy Land Experience a MONTH after she passed. Shameful!

Simple mind. You think they don’t have to pay bills like everything else? Back in the 90’s, the ELECTRIC bill for ONE station for ONE month was a little over $10,000. That’s only the bill for electric at one station for only one month. Let alone phone bills, payroll, etc. LOL Get a clue.
