I posted this comment on the original release of MOONFLOWER a year ago and when i heard her explain it again i just cried my eyes out. I actually met Abbie at this festival and was able to tell her how much God had used her worship to reach all the broken and traumatised parts in me. She was absolutely lovely and i also managed to get a picture with her which i treasure as she is such a genuine person, worshipper and so so anointed: My Christian life has been a constant battle of healing and deliverance and getting to know JESUS and his love that he has for me. I came out of childhood trauma verbal, physical and sexual abuse. I got saved in a prison cell 33 years ago and God has been nothing but faithful. This morning i was sitting here crying, a little bit fed up of the constant battle and then i heard my beautiful worshipper Abbie. The words of the song absolutely wrecked me especially the last verse: I heard about a garden Somewhere south of London Where moonflowers are hanging overhead And though they're lovely in the light The gardener said, "Come back tonight The darkness makes the fragrance rise" In the end i was crying out: IF JESUS IS IN THE DARKNESS THEN THAT’S WHERE I WANT TO BE EVEN THOUGH IT IS SO PAINFUL.
