Nice video! Very helpful, i was wondering, was there a spring i missed seeing prior to the clutch cover being put on as part of the shifting Assembly?
@rustknuckles43374 жыл бұрын
Hi adam ar 15:26 there's the a piece with a cut out in it and theres a spring with about 2 or 3 coils that goes in the centre of that piece then the clutch coved goes on ....if. you look up cmsnl.com they have exploded diagrams of everything...its my go to website for any assembling duties...and you can buy parts from them as well.....

@@rustknuckles4337 Awesome! I'm doing my first 88 kit this weekend. Will change to a higher volume oil spinner but they say the oil passage should be drilled using a 2mm bit. Thanks for the Link!

@@adamdelarozza1985 yes I drilled out the oil passage with a 2mm drill bit and installed the high volume oil pump, just didn't put it on the video.. ...the oil pump came with my kit which was good...

What carburetor is that and what jets are in it? Pilot and main.
@rustknuckles43374 жыл бұрын
The carb came with the tb parts big bore kit it's a 20mm Chinese carb...unsure what jet sizes are in it but came with a main jet kit for tuning....I ended up swapping it for a genuine mikuni.

Those screws holding down the centrifugal filter cover are a nightmare to get off. Impact driver is the only way. But man, I would not have used my piston skirt to stop the crank turning!
@rustknuckles43374 жыл бұрын
yeah those screws are a nightmare, glad i didn't have to drill the heads off...the piston was a throw away item , it was off a later model engine with the flat top.

Where did you get the stand?
@rustknuckles43374 жыл бұрын
Hi John...I made the stand myself from some square tubing and flat bar...I bought a cheap tank off ebay and painted it with a hammertone grey finish from a spray can.
