I read Childhood’s End in September and just recently watched the TV mini series. It didn’t quite work for me as a novel but I was interested in the ideas presented. I didn’t think that much of Brooklyn when I read it 2-3 years ago but a lot of detail and feeling from that book has stayed with me. There is a sequel that was recently published but I haven’t had much interest in picking it up. The Thing with Feathers sounds like something I would like!
