I just read Emily Wilde. I was putting it off too because I wasn’t sure it was for me, but if you just go into it with low, chilled expectations it’s actually very fun to be in the world ☺️

January is most definitely is a mood. I need to escape for sure this year 😂 I love that you have the books from the library on your cart. How do you do that while the due dates and everything?! Trying to balance all of that with library books is the hardest for me. 🫢 So lucky though, the free pick! I think you could've just swapped the prompts because I definitely would've done that. Use the continue the series for Crooked Kingdom & pick the my own free pick. I love that your dad is so excited for Lessons in Chemistry. AHH, you remind me that I was going to read Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express this month. Uhmmmm it's Jan 30th. I did not try at all but given that I want to not exist and escape into a book, I think I'll pick it up RIGHT NOW. 🤪

I just came across your video and just wanted to say 'hi'. Absolutely loved this video - you seem like such a nice, warm and welcoming person and the edits on your video are chef's kiss 🤍 Your TBR looks so good and I hope you enjoy it. I came across 'An Ornithologists Field Guide to Love' on someone else's video and loved it then but you're description makes me want to read it even more. I guess, I'm just in my cozy fantasy phase right now. My February TBR has 'Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Fairies' on it and I couldn't be more excited. Edit: also, I saw 'Anatomy: A Love Story' on your TBR and I devoured the Duology 🤭 if you like fantasy with a little bit of action and love, my recommendation will forever be 'What The River Knows' by Isabel Ibañez 😍

hiii thank you for being here 🥰🥰 ah I feel like Ornithologists field guide is getting so much attention right now and i’m so excited for it 🙊 I hope you love reading Emily Wilde! I think this time of year is perfect for cozy fantasy! Oh yay!! I’ve had anatomy on my tbr for farrrr too long I reallly need to read it soon 🥹 I once got What The River Knows from the library but never got the chance to read it before having to return, so I will have to get it out again!!

@@daniella-rayeof course, I love finding people in the book community I vibe with 🤍 And I absolutely agree. After putting it on my book list, it kept popping up all over the place. I hope this means it's really good - sometimes I keep hearing about a specific book so much and when I read it it's absolutely not what I expected so I try to go into books as blind as possible. Sadly, 'The Crimson Moth/Heartless Hunter' was such a case where people kept hyping it up and I liked it but didn't love it as much 🤭 for some reason 'Ornithologists' is giving me Magical Beasts kind of vibes - hopefully that holds true. 'Anatomy' is a really good winter/autumn read - a little gothic-inspired read. And 'River' is so so good - it felt like a mix between 'Death on the Nile' meets 'Relic Hunter' (I loved that show as a child but you might be a little bit younger than me 🤭🤍) vibes. And I would marry Whitford Hayes on the spot 🤭

@ yess I definitely get that! there are a few really popular books that really just didn’t work for me personally but that’s ok! hopefully the Ornithologists isn’t that for either of us!! heheh love a good book boyfriend 🤪🎀🩷

So I commented last night but it disappeared! I just happened to click on your video again and noticed it was gone... I can’t fully remember what I said but mainly that I’m very excited for many of these, great TBR!! I’m reading Hello Beautiful right now and loving it and recommend maybe picking up Little Women before reading it, but that’s not absolutely essential. And also, I’m doing a buddy read on Fable in February of Ornithologist’s Field Guide and you’re welcome to join us if you want/have Fable! And yay for Crooked Kingdom and Emily Wilde 😍
@daniella-raye13 күн бұрын
oh noo that sucks but thank you for coming back 🥹 omg I don’t have fable but I will def get it and join! that sounds SO fun thank you so much for letting me know!!! I definitely plan to read little women before hello beautiful but I think this is the perfect time of year to read it, glad you are loving it so far!!

@ you’re so welcome! Yay so exciting! Yeah Fable is super easy to use and I really like the way the app is structured. My Fable link is in my channel bio so let me know when you make your account and you can either find me or I can add you! 😀🎉 And good plan to read Little Women before Hello Beautiful, although I will say that there so far have been just a couple references to Little Women towards the beginning and it’s been a fairly loose reimagining. But Little Women is so good and worth your time too!!
