@ exactly. I love the first 2 movies but 3 and 4 were horrible lol
@kylereece197921 сағат бұрын
@agarven1 Parts 3&4 had nothing whatsoever to do with the Original. Just random films that, used the "Tommy Lee" character in situations that, you couldnt imagi e him in here.😁 I always thought that Phillp Rhee was utterly brilliant and should have been big, but not in lower budget unrelated "sequels" to a cult classic like BOTB. I liked part 2 , the fight scenes were amazing. But, it was a heavier, darker film that lacked the vibe of the first, and was more like the otherwise entertaining Van Damme style films of the time. Plus, the second one- I remember hating that Travis ended up the way he did-it spoiled the vibes of how I saw the first film at the time.😁 It works better for me as a single film with no sequals.

“What was that one?!” That, my friends, was a jumping axe kick. Axe kicks are a staple of Korean martial arts. Simple to learn, very adaptable depending on the martial artist. Just a lift and then a swing down, gravity and your heel do the rest. And they can do some serious damage to your bones if they connect. One of the last places I want to be is on the ground against someone who has mastered the axe kick, because I may not get back up ever again.

@kylereece1979Күн бұрын
Hello from Ireland! D-lighted to see this Classic get well deserved attention. In 1991, all my friends were talking about this in school, as everyone was renting it in the VideoShop. I absolutely remember seeing this- and it is still one of the best films of its type. It has a huge heart ,it has pathos and emotive drama that, I still think genuinelly hits home with that final scene. It is different from the all out action of the Segal/Van Damme films of the time. It is more in tune with Rocky, Karate Kid. Its more of a personal story for Tommys closure to forgive Dae Han by sparing his life, rather than claim glory with a final attack. The Final Fight with Dae Han and Tommy is Incredible. It is full of rage, revenge and forgiveness. It is brilliantly filmed. Tommy, no matter what personal demons were driving him, could not become a killer. Had he finished off his opponant, it would have just been like any other Revenge Martial Arts movie of its day. I think it genuinely stands out because of that ending. I dont give a Shite if people think its cheesy, its amazing! 😁 I have to mention too:: The soundtrack is wonderful. The Violins that score out the final scene with Dae Han's confession is still fecking amazing. Ive got a huge nostalgia for the film , and still love it.
