It's quite a personal choice but I think that the Tango II is more comfortable for pinchers...

Great video and thanks for sharing. I just got my Tango 2 Pro and I updated the firmware to 1.2x. I can't get my channel mapping to work correctly in Betaflight. I have selected AETR1234 as my channel in BF and when I move my Tango 2 Throttle stick the YAW also moves with it. Anything else I need to do to correct this issue? I have no issue with my TBS TX micro attached to the back of my Taranis X9D but I can't get the Tango 2 to work at all. Thank you in advance.

The default channel order one the radio may have changed. Ypu can change it in the radio menu or use the other channel orders in Betaflight.

Hello! I just got the tango 2. Is there something to do on the first power on so that it does not lock to a specific mode like EU for exemple? I don't want to get stuck with a low output power as soon as I start using it :-)

looks great the tango.bit gutted because we ordered module and couple recievers to start upgrading our equipment but been a month now and still waiting.tbs said can i wait till mid next month that will be allmost 2 month.cant track parcel courrier say they have no parcel.dont know whats going on at tbs but been promised every week and still no parcel.item says shipped along time ago so not sure.dont supose you know shats going on at tbs lee.i know people have ordered recent and recieved items straight away.even testers are getting theres and not me who they gave us great deal courtosy of gal kremmer but still cost alot.eventualy upgrading all radios and drones to long distance.we had to purchase r9 for now to try but need this tbs

That order you have is a common one and supported in Betaflight and iNavflight so you shouldn't need to tweak your radio. See my betaflight BNF setup video... happy flying

Do you think it'll be better off doing the dji hack for range on DJI System or using crossfire on the tango 2 pro?

The DJI hack will give you more FPV range, using something like Crossfire will also give you more control range.. Best of luck

Thanks for the run through Lee, question. I've updated the Tango2 to the latest firmware/sd card etc. All went fine. I copied the models I'd setup back into the 'new' models folder on the sd card and they're not showing up? Any clues or tricks please. TIA Trevor

I have a question when I tried to create a new model this error comes up scrip memory allocating panic error. what does this mean? I have been duplicating models and erasing them is this because of that?

Good info....On my Tango2 I cannot save a duplicate model and successfully change the name. Seems my Tango defaults to the previous name. Anyone else have this issue? EDIT.... flakey firmware... sometimes it delays the name change and eventually takes it and sometimes the model changes back to the copied name. HEY TBS - please work on this, very annoying.

I set my radio default to AETR and every time I create a multirotor model through the wizard it assigns the mixer channels to RETA. Also if I modify the Model101 it reverts itself back to defaults later. Will be nice when we can use the OpenTX companion to set up models. I am ready for the update, hopefully it fixes these issues.

I have a Tango 2 pro on the way... will I be able to fly all of my quads off of the same tx model like I do with my Taranis/crossfire? In other words, will it bind to multiple Nanos while in the same tx model, or am I going to be jumping from one tx model to the next every time I switch quads?

You can move the channels into any order you like model by model but if you want it to do that every time then look at the default channel order in the radio setup screens.. Best of luck!

It's something that is missing from FreedomTX (I am running v1.01 here). The original version of FreedomTX shipped with the radio also didn't have that feature and I reported it during the beta testing so I hope to see it sorted in FreedomTX soon. I am aware of a lot of work to improve model setup so maybe it'll be part of that future update... I'll be covering the changes when its released.... stay tuned!
