My theory is that Jayce visited a world where the Arcane actually took over in a bad way. It was the bad ending, while in this world Viktor managed to control it and use it for good, but Jayce was so traumatized by the void that only thing he can think of is destroying Arcane. Also, another possibility is that Arcane is sort of a good energy of Runterra, and the Void absolutely hates it so it sent Jayce to try and Kill Victor/Destroy the Arcane.

Not the bad ending, but probably what would happen, i want you to check the scene where jayce is speaking to salo and almost in the end of the conversation you can see jayce´s breathing in the air but not salo´s, the "cured" are cursed to become something else, something that doesnt even need vital organs as lungs, they are not humans anymore, but maybe something else, by what we know of the hexcore it changes drastically and rapidly trying to find better ways to do tasks, what if in one of those evolutions the hexcore goes. "man, humanity is trash and they dont follow orders because of their free will and morals, what if we get rid of the morals?"

I love how they presented Felicia - She talks like Jinx; sounds like her. But also, she's apparently voiced by Vex's voice actor. Also notice the detail that in the flashback, it's shown that Felicia has the braid and Silco had the side swept bangs thing that Jinx's iconic hair has.

As a former Orianna main, I have really mixed feelings about her showing up. On one hand, yay! Riot remembered she exists! On the other hand, she is once again in the same state she was for previous iterations of her lore: a prop for her father to mourn over. Some of her rewrites made it so her robotic state was ultimately a consequence of her own decisions- she gave her rebreather to someone who needed it, and ended up getting sick with the Grey because of her act of kindness, which then led to her father replacing her failing body parts. It's kinda disappointing that they seem to be sticking closer to the original lore, where Orianna has no agency in her condition. I guess there's still three more episodes but I've long given up hope in LoL doing anything cool with the champions I care about.

The line from Singed "in another world you would have been friends" hints that Ori and Cait are much alike, most likely in their affection and empathy for Zaunites (which Cait still has) and hinting that Ori did get sick from her own choices to go to Zaun to help out.

I think that her being a "prop" is really only because she's not been revived yet. If they do decide to actually have her robotic form appear in the show, then I'm sure her character will be much more fleshed out. As of right now, there's only so much you can do with a character who is in constant suspended animation.

Black Rose says that Ambessa stole something from them. Their father was the experiment and Mel is his child that inherited that power. Pretty much like Annie inherited powers from Amoline. They wouldn't treat Ambessa as a stealer if she was the one responsible for what's happened and they would want both, Ambessa and Mel. Besides, Ambessa didn't resieve any blessing, she just escaped near death experience so Wolf left her because they cant claim what's not dead. And probably it was the other way around, Mel saved Ambessa, cause if Ambessa would die so would Mel, and whatever it is wont let Mel die.

So when Mel was getting restrained by the black rose chains and then she just explodes in gold or something my immediate thought was is this related to Morgana and Kayle? Because the chains reminded me of Morgana like in Lor with the curse mechanic and then the gold would be Kayle because I think it was implied that the power Mel has is like connected to the power of the black rose but the opposite or complementary or smth. Not just Sevika, the entire Piltover/Zaun revolution plotline. It was the central focus of ep 4 but ep5/6 don't cover it essentially at all. And since Sevika is only involved in that storyline she doesn't have anything to do in all of this Vander/Singed/Victor stuff that goes on in ep 5/6. I understand why it was separated that way, it makes the episodes feel more internally consistent as it would be weird to need to constantly jump back and forth between the revolution plot and whatever else is going on, but it is still very awkward and makes that story feel a bit sidelined at least for now. Hopefully it will be more prominent in act 3. It's just a consequence of the show trying to cover so much in a relatively short time. The scope has expanded massively from season 1, but they're still showing everything in the same amount of episodes.

You cannot convince me that the end of the episode was Jayce time-travelling -- particularly not after he, Ekko, and Heimerdinger got trapped in the Hexbase's fractal multidimensional grasp. For one thing, when Salo's approach allowed the Hexbase to sense what the Hexcore had evolved into, it reassembled Jayce from all his torn-apart potential and put a twisted weapon of its own reconstruction (rather than Jayce's hextech hammer) in his hands. From all the time it's held him captive, it's clear it chose Jayce -- clueless, gullible, moldable, himbo Jayce -- to exert its will through. It reprogrammed him, rewrote his perceptions of Runeterra, implanted a hextech crystal in his wrist for direct control when needed, and put him on a smash-everything-that-stands-in-your-way mission. Jayce's behavior both here and in 2x06 strongly evidence that he got brainwashed and sent on a kill mission against Victor and the Hexcore. My suspicion is that 2x06 is the "bad ending" of the Hexbase sending its pawn against the Hexcore, and Ekko and Heimerdinger -- neither of which is as much of a gullible, weak-willed dumbass as Jayce is -- will be working to free themselves from the Hexbase's fractal prison by utilizing time travel themselves. Act 3 will be them, and eventually Vi, Jinx, Vander/Warwick, and gods willing Isha working to prevent Jayce from striking down Victor, and Noxus (in the persons of Ambessa and Rictus) from succeeding in their takeover of Piltover and Zaun.

Can I just say that... I'm not really convinced of the time travel thing yet...? Jayce sounded way more surprised by Viktor and Salo's powers and nature, if he came from the future, wouldn't he be more knowleadgable about them, already know what they are? In my opinion, he didn't properly travel in time, but he came in contact with an entity in another dimension, something that morphed his view of the Arcane and Hextech to the point that even when learning that Viktor is the culprit of it, and Salo, another Counsil member, he doesn't esitate to mush his brains with a Q and move on to find Viktor...

Something that I noticed in this episode is when Jayce and Salo/Viktor are talking, you can see Jayce's breath but you cant see Salos, almost like he's dead or a husk of a human being. My theory so far with this is Viktors "healing" might kill them and put their sols or something into the hexcore. Idk yet, super early theory. Something that kind of backs this up is Salos skull is completely hollow in a single frame. Is this a valid mini-theory or am I going crazy?

My theory is that Jayce, Heimerdinger, and Ekko ended up in the future, when Viktor's glorious evolution was fully realised and it's a dystopia. So the three of them figured out a time machine and sent Jayce back to the present to stop Viktor (Terminator style).

Thing is the void is observed when u compare how the followers of Viktor act with characters we have seen consumed by the void in runeterra. In Nami's comic they basically show that they turn into living husks with a hive mind of sorts but they arent "themselves". We can see that in Arcane too when you see Viktor literally communicating thru Salo and when you also notice that Salo isn't "breathing" as you cant see the same cold air Jayce has when he talks. That and also the fact that the aesthetic and colors of the void also seem similar to the hexcore are other reasons why you could see the void being related to the hexcore (for all we know hexcore is rune magic corrupted by the void).
