For anyone who's curious about her accent, in PC's memoir she clearly says how she has travelled and been in the US for the most part of her middle and high school years. Even after she returns to Bareilly, she still had her American accent (which is expected and normal). Therefore, her accent here is not a wannabe-fake act, her childhood & teen years plus the 10-month long training she received for her enunciation and dictation skills helped her articulate her thoughts so well. And seriously, look at her. She's just amazing, oozing confidence and grace. How can you be bothered about the way she speaks?!
