I love how both Branch and Poppy show lots of autism symptoms, but like, the complete opposite ones. Branch is touch-avoidant whilst Poppy is sensory seeking, Branch with the hypoempathy and Poppy with the hyperempathy, Branch being unexpressive/resting bitchface while poppy is over expressive, both of them miss social queues lol but its brought out in different circumstances. There's so many things. I do kinda see Poppy having both Adhd and Autism, while branch just has Autism. Your honour they're made for each other.

Even tho I havent watched the movie yet, I was surprised the storyline they went for Branch was centered around “how people are treated in their family” or from what I can perceive, “Branch doesn’t want to be seen as a baby of the family”. As someone who is on the spectrum, there were way too many times I felt like I was treated like Branch was in the plot of Band Together, which made him even more relatable.

You know, whenever I rewatch these movies ( the first 2)I never saw him autistic I always saw him as a tragic character ( at this point it keeps getting worse when we find more about his backstory what next we find out that one of or both his parents died which I assume it happened) who has depression and trauma ( head cannon this is why his color changes) but watching the third film I noticed that he might be, mix with having depression ( abandonment issues) and being autistic and then seeing these videos I can see it from the other films too.
