I bought the Friesland and Loyang for the green xp. Always have a great match in either one.

Nice game, Tbull. This shop is so strong. I run destroy or be destroyed in the fourth row for extra speed. That makes up, a little bit, for not having the speed boost and makes it easier to reposition. Incidentally, after getting this ship, I started running a similar Gleaves build on the Benson. You can take the long range torps off and you get the same short range fast torps as the Loyang. You also get 5 guns, though with a slower reload. Makes for a fun time.

I missed this campaign when it came out, but I finally picked up the Friesland a couple weeks ago. I love playing that ship, and it’s really fun, but it was a tough choice between that and the Loyang.

The last 2 weeks i have the same kind of battles very often.. 5 battleships and 4 destroyers at both teams! No cruisers!

Btw that's the second time I've played that ship, won it In a crate over Xmas. And it's typical that when I want to learn it I get into a tbull game where he gets a kraken haha . Gg though. P.s I was drunk. PPS. I still came 1st. Not much I could of done.

My favorite tier 7 destroyer. I'd argue that the best destroyer in the game is the Kamikaze, but that's probably because I have the most Krakens in it, so I'm biased.🙂 Loyang does have some good tools, hard to beat in a close range DD vs. DD encounter if it has smoke and sonar available.

@@Thunderlord_Tozn That's quite the assumption to make, but hey, you do you. Do you really see a higher level of gameplay at higher tiers? I don't really see that. The same mix of good, bad and no tactics pretty much happens at all tiers. I'm still going to play my Kamikaze when I want to, and when I need 4 top 3's to finish my weekly havoc, I'll get it done easily in 4 games and move on to play some arena or something. And have fun. Because it's a game, and having fun is kind of the point, isn't it?

I have a few of them up, just search for Tbull Hsienyang in KZbin and they should pop up. Should work for most of the ships in the game if you're ever looking for some footage

Curious as to why anyone would go with the shorter range torps? I know they are super slow, just wondering

The shorter range torps are faster than the long range torps. So your choice is long range and slow, or shorter range and fast.

Right on, from your comment, I thought you meant the shorter ones were slower. I personally use the shorter ones. Better for hitting DDs and cruisers due to their speed.

In a 1-2 DD game think that makes the most sense, but in 4 DD game each DD is less valuable - obviously subjective but would say cap control was more important in this context.

@@jackdesantis5477 Plenty of time to cap after you kill the DD. It's easy to backseat drive, but I'm just trying to offer some analysis. He turned a 2 vs.1 battle into a 1 vs. 2 and allowed his DD to die. It worked out in the end, but it's easy to see a scenario where he died and the (now unopposed) enemy DD rolled up the flank. Anyway, Tbull himself realizes his strategy was risky. He was just good enough to pull it off. GG's

He was outside of 5.4 km when he should have been attacking. At that point I couldn't read what he was doing, even with the twist n track. That dynamic was why that 5 minutes was fun to play. But no, I don't think attacking the Z directly was the correct play. I think I played it correctly in the replay

I think potentially taking 2 DDs to chase down a lone DD would have just put them out of position and delayed the scoring play
