Really great demo thank you! I am guilty of leaving my X4 on a slap back setting and not doing much with it. This video has been a real inspiration for me, The pedal sounds great set the way I have it, but I should use it more for practicing! If anyone is thinking bout this pedal just buy it you wont be disappointed, it does a lot and bang for the buck factor is huge, I bought it when it 1st came out, some of the tome prints for it are amazing. It's not an analog delay but its no 1 trick pony!

Just purchased this pedal. Ive been trying to lay a simple rhythm loop but can't get it to loop seamless. There is always a pause between the end of the loop and the beginning of the loop. Do you have any suggestions on this?

luna5632 It's all about practicing your timing and feeling the rhythm. They're are also looping pedals which will compensate for those inaccuracies, like all of the BOSS looping stations.

hi ur info video is very helpful but I got a big doubt can I use the sub-div switch as I want I mean with any of the delay presets or every preset has assigned a sub-div that can not be modified even I chose quater note or Dotted Eighth? I'll appreciate ur reply t-you =)

Francisco González Bustamante Where did you get this info from? I had the tiny Ditto Looper and it had 5 minutes of rec time but 40 seconds would explain why my loops are getting messed up on my AlterEgo X4! I wonder why there is so little memory on these!!?

Info from TC Electronic official site. The Ditto is a dedicated looper device, the Alter Ego X4 is a delay pedal with a looper as plus.

I think for overdubbing delays 40secs are enough,Timeline also has 40 secs so...
