This is how every rack unit demo should be done-every effect + adjustment, and IN STEREO. Thank you for this. But oh my god that “Falling Into Pieces” vocal was absolutely brutal. I did not think I would survive. That’s the kind of thing that makes a man question if he even likes music anymore. Other than that, great job!

The only thing I see that it's missing is a Gated reverb,which is great for the snare drum ,it gives it that big BOOM and shuts off.

I've settled on using the "Nearfield" reverb setting for my snare drum. Really cuts through a rock mix.

How does this TC compare to Yamaha's SPX990 or Rev 5/7? Anyone have any opinion on these units?

Thank you for the review. One comment about the comps and de-esser in M350. I think they are intended to be used as insert effects with sound mixers (not via aux). Otherwise you'll get the comb filter effect when the two audio paths are not in phase with each other.

well I like both of them. I think I prefer the Halls of the TC a little more, but I like the Delays of the Lexicon.

How does it compare to Plugin reverbs? I use Cubase and have an IR of the TC 6000 which is good, but I am thinking of getting the TC M350 as an external SEND into my DAW. What are your thoughts? How do you rate it sonically? Cheers and thanks for the great video!

It is quite good for the money! I got it just because of the TC Classic Hall preset which sounds pretty incredible on vocals. I also like the Slapback Delay which adds a nice ambience to vocals. I managed to copy the TC Classic Hall preset in Logic with Chroma Verb if I need it on more tracks but the hardware is still a little different. Why did you leave out the most interesting fact? This unit is one of few on the market that can be connected with your daw and used as a *hardware plugin*...... yes, a hardware unit that can be used through your daw and you control it like any other plugin, even though it is a physical unit. I almost bought it, but backed off because I don't really need it. Got the Lexicon mx400, which also can be used as a *hardware plugin* (so can the mx200). For those who don't know, go research it.....it's Very interesting and impressive and Cool.....bought one immediately

All hardware reverbs can be setup to be an external SEND within your DAW, not just a few. All of them. I am thinking of buying this actually

@@BesharALAzzawi me too, I was thinking about M one Xl, but read here and there many units internal power supply failed and the screen died. This M350 is good, maybe not as refined when it comes to sound as M ONE Xl, but I don't think there will be huge difference in sound between both units. Wish M350 had a switch off button.

You can either do it manually or trigger it via midi assuming the unit has midi sockets.

в принципе да для ударных в любом случае. подключайте его в insert вашего микшера. с вокалом сложнее выводите preamp вокалa с микшера aux send в тс350 a выход с тс 350 в insert микшера. ну или всё по цифре через коаксиальные напрямую в обход / без микшера из карты / интерфейса вашего ПК в тс 350 и обратно

I saw that nobody has gotten to your comment but if you’re still wondering the answer would be, yes.there’s two engines so you could control your compressor, delay, etc while you have your reverb on the right hand side.

Hm, that really depends on the venue. But a short delay and a hall reverb might be always a good choice. Try the Slapback delay (Min Delay, Normal Feedback) and the TC Classic Hall (starting from min: 2 Predelay, 4 Decay, 3 Color)

both possible, but canonically as multi fx it goes from mixer aux send -> tc 350 - > mixer aux return.

best way is to use the aux channels of the mixer. Aux 1 send -> input FX -> output FX -> Aux 1 return (works mono or stereo)
