Hi, this is a great device! I've had one for about 3 years and I have performed with it extensively. Here's my problem, maybe you can help me. The input for the guitar is supposed to be consistently green on the LED (meter) occasionally yellow, but never red. I play several styles in the course of the night, finger picking, strumming, and lots of country chicken picken. Any time I do a palm mute style rhythm the LED goes full red, unless I set the guitar input so low that it doesn't even trigger the green 80% of the time while strumming or finger picking . I wish there was compression pre FX area, I can't think of a work around other than adding a compressor to my rig before the TC Helicon. Any Ideas? Thanks!

How many guitar effects are in this one please? I loved the white version, it had so many guitar effects but they don't sell it anymore. 😢

Hallo Adam what’s the biggest differences between voice live 3 and play acoustic? Thanks
@JasonWelchMusic Жыл бұрын
I'm a harmonica player/singer who occasionally plays acoustic in the band. I'd love to have seperate control of my vocal effects and harmonica effects. I prefer to use an SM58 for vocals, and a seperate SM58 for harmonica, and a relatively clean signal for my Taylor. Problem is that I'm limited to one channel on the snake Honestly, a small mixer beside me, running to the house mixer would definitely do the trick. It would give me the reverb and eq that I need... but what can the voicelive play offer as an alternative approach?

Hi , I certainly hope you can help me with this issue. I have TC Helicon Play Acoustic for a year or more. It was a great device! Just recently, the unit acts strange. It turn on OK, but suddenly it just HANG/ FREEZE. Display is ON, but all buttons and knobs not working. Unit can not detect input sound, no output either. I tried to RESET, also updated the unit with latest firmware via VoiceSupport. The problem still happens after a couple of minutes.

I have a question for someone. Does this require the INSTRUMENT to find the VOCAL harmony?....I want to use it in a band situation but i'm not always strumming the chords to the song but rather playing fill and color lines and notes
@sweetwater3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Mike E. Yes, this will still work for your band situation. The VoiceLive Play also has built-in mics that pick up sound from the room and can detect the proper key from that, as well. That will allow it to track your harmonies properly whether you're playing rhythm or lead. Thanks for your interest! Can I use it with any DAW? to record some harmony?
@sweetwater2 жыл бұрын
Hi, WC. You can run the outputs from the Voicelive Play to the line inputs on an interface, which would allow you to record into the DAW of your choice. The main vocal and harmony will be printed on the same track so you would just have to commit to the results of both for each take. Thanks for your interest! @@SHG-im9bk Hi, Seay. Once you have a sound dialed in, you can assign it as a preset to the Genre called Favorite. Doing that will save all the settings of the pedal. Thanks for your interest! Charlie Davis, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1320, charlie_davis@sweetwater.com

I think it's more that it sounds horrible because there's way too much of the harmony signal in that mix I agree with you it sounds terrible I'm interested to see what it would sound like if you use the pedal correctly with more of the dry signal and less of the wet.
