Celebrating Unity in Christ Jesus Wednesday 22.01.2025 Luke 7:18-35 📌I have learned that in verse 18 and 19 some times challenges can lead us to start dougting people if they are sent by God or not, like John the Baptist .(Losing Faith) 🎯Jesus justified a scripture that says " You will know them by their fruits" in replying messengers of John the Baptist 📌 Doubting Christ cannot change His nature. John asked are you the Christ? And Jesus says , what I know the sick are healed, the lamb walk...... 📌 I would not doubt Christ if I was John because he needed to be freed from prison and Christ do this. 📌 We need to know Christ in depth , the power and authority He has over situations. 📌In verse 30 I have learned that however much u preach the gospel to people there are those who will not accept Jesus Christ as their saviour(perdition son John 17:12) 📌 Fear Jesus. Who has been to the wildernesses and if you're asked , whhat did you see there? In the wilderness, Jesus puts to order and if we don't learn anything there, it can be a pity. After Elijah had feared the false prophetess and after anointing Jehu, he was sent to the desert for more lessons. ✍🏻we should not have wrong expectations about Jesus and what He will do.Trust that He is the Christ even when is not meeting our expectations.like John the Baptist yet he is the one who baptized Jesus... 🎯People will always have wrong perceptions,we should however stay on course and avoid distractions for as long as you are pursuing the will of God 📝 They are those people who will not accept Our Lord Jesus unless they see miracles like people being healed,lame walking etc. ✍🏻we should not accuse someone associating with sinners, but we should associate with them so as they may come and follow Christ.jesus was accused of associating with the sinners and tax collector's He had love for them.i think dats what even brought John the Baptist to have doubt ✍🏻Verse 35 teaches us to listen to God's wisdom and act on it. 📌We should believe what we preach otherwise the converts can leave you behind 📌Never doubt God, He is not a limit of places. He operates everywhere. ✍🏻in verse 31 the story Jesus used show us that; sometimes, some people just don't get it they don't understand they can't understand may be they refuse to understand.John the Baptist and Jesus people didn't not understand them.🙇🏽♂🙇🏽♂ lord help us not to be among those people.🙏🏼🙏🏼
