Not only is it not particularly sophisticated, Tchaikovsky detested the work! Though the rest of his work is plenty enough well known that he's *probably* not rolling in his grave over 1812's popularity

@@pseunition6038 Tchaikovsky 5 and 6, Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto, Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1. The reason he hated the piece is because he thought it was all patriotic “noise”.

Never played this game but I'm _sure_ I hear _Ocarina of Time's_ brass, snare drum, and clarinet here. Maybe others from that game. 7:35 sounds so much like a sped-up "Deku Palace!" I know this isn't the point of the channel, but could you maybe do OoT "Hyrule Field" in this sound font some day? Many of the other instruments are different and higher quality.

They are pretty similar sounding now that you mention! Regarding Hyrule Field, I'm afraid it's extremely unlikely I will. There are already more than enough channels covering video game music with soundfonts out there.
