Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty Flash Mob in Jerusalem
Fifty students from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, together with children from Sderot's Perach Tutorial Project, gathered at Jerusalem's first railway station for a surprise Purim concert. They were joined by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and philanthropist Shari Arison.
The performance was part of Good Deeds Day, an annual event that originated in Israel in 2007 and now takes place in over 50 countries worldwide. On this day, volunteers reach out to the less fortunate and the vulnerable.
This event was made possible thanks to generous support of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education.
