That's a bit of a hard first symphony. I tried to sightread it with a recording though. My first symphony was Beethoven 1 so that's a bit easier.

I'm a wind player, but I've been a fill-in in a decent orchestral percussion section a time or two. The amount of things percussionists have is astounding. I had the pleasure of selecting multiple triangles for size, girth, weight, and material. Alongside tens of varying types of triangle beaters.😮‍💨🤩

If the next British Prime minister will be an lndian torry, oh well, Gandhi is laughing nuts in his grave now...you can start right away adding some oriental instruments as well, they create such a ...surprising polyphonic effect, you might enjoy it guys. There is a version of Radetzky March on Chinese traditional instruments, you might get shocked how funny can be, l love it madly
