I love this stuff. Some echoes of Prokofiev. If I were a composer, I would go for this kind of sound.

There are no names. Just Bagatelle No. Whatever.

Sorry, but this is not a great recording of the bagatelles. His rhythm is inaccurate in mm. 125 and 129 of No. 7 (he plays the dotted eighths twice as slow as they're written in the 6/8 meter)! Also, there shouldn't be any rubato in No. 10, which makes it sappy and gets in the way of the exciting drive to the end. Rubato works well in some of the other bagatelles, but not this one.

I'm learning the 10th bagatelle right now, and I really just disagree with this recording. The phrasing feels off, the dynamics aren't as clear as they should be, and that rubato makes me cringe so hard.

Agreed, it is missing something... and the rubato makes me frown, too.
