Like already said, in some pictures the TCL tend to red colors, in some others it seems a bit too dark. It might be possible to fix that by a software update. Or maybe it's just an issue with the phone you have. The pictures at night are clearly better on the TCL. For example the bridge at 3:12min! If you like to have a real world foto, then the TCL does it. The iPhone is brighter, but that is far away from how it really looks at night! PS: Thanks for the great and very helpful comparison! :-)

I like the video footage quality on the TCL 20 Pro but the sound quality on the iPhone 12 sounds better because you don't hear the background noise.

I think the case for cameras is pretty subjective - many people are fine with older 7,8,X iPhones or Huawei P20/P30... Not everyone needs or wants newer phones... And dont forget the enthusiast / Pro crowd, who dont accept anythin below pro grade cameras...

the camera on the TCL is better but the screen PPI is less than the iPhone. you have to pulled out the pics and compare on a even/same screen. TCL screen is below 400 and iPhone is above 400.

@@RedskullPro was just trying to show that the pros the iPhone has, is there for a cost. I used to have the Alcatel 4s, and twas only 450 but the features werre non stop. And TCLis the outfit that made Alcatel. They can produce grade a phones, at least the 4s was an example of one. Their processors are where they save I think. Apple makes a good phone no doubt, but they aren't cheap.

The video recording and audio are really trash for a phone that is selling for ~500$. Even worse than some Xiaomi phones that cost 200-400$, it seems like they've worked only on photography and not videography.

As far as I have learned, TCL was producing the Blackberry-Phones in the past and the Alcatel too. I don't know any Alcatel Phones, but Blackberry is well known and has a good quality.

For $499.99, and it performs that well with a lot of good specs and great screen, can't go wrong. The iPhone 12 is double the cost, so it actually should blow the TCL 20 out of the waters, and it doesn't seem to do that. I'm currently looking for the best phone I can get in this mid price rage. I refuse to spend $1000 out of my account for a phone. Looking at the Moto G Stylus %G, this TCL 20 Pro, Oneplus, and maybe a nicely priced Note 20.. Not sure what else, any suggestions?

I heard about the Redmi note 10 pro that it is maybe the best midrange phone you can get in 2021. Almost all the sites say so. I ordered mine today. I have a TCL 20 pro 5g now, I will compare both and refund the one I like the less.

@@chaudcola awesome definitely let me know what you think. Yes I looked at that phone also a few times, but one major issue for me is I don't think it supports CDMA. Which is Verizon service, I like using them. It doesn't support 5G either. . I'm not sure if you're in the united states or not.

Não entendi nada do que ele disse (não entendo inglês) mas comparando os vídeos e fotos, no modo geral, o iPhone é superior do que TCL 20 Pro 5G. O 20 Pro, é para usuários modestos, que querem mais para uso geral e não pensam em ótimas fotos e vídeos e muito menos para jogos. Mas o 20 Pro é muito bom de espaço, bateria, sem apps parceiros e tem certas inteligências nele para produtividade.
