Great video. The display of QDEL was the standout for me. If possible I'd like to know what the current state of QDEL is compared to last year.

Model uniformity from TCL is needed in Europe.

I hope TCL will stop naming same model (QM7 in US/C765 outside US) with different denominations. There is absolutely no point of doing so.

Just like Mitsubishi. They name their vehicles depending on the region. In the UK, they call it Shogun Sport. While in Asia Pacific its Montero/Pajero Sport.

I like how @11:13 he completely ignores the 163 inch Micro Led TV in the background. It's almost like he is saying, "your audience can't afford this so I will just skip it!" Meanwhile over at Hisense that is all they are talking about.

No, it was a mistake that it was missed and then when we recorded the part with it, the mic failed and I hadn't noticed until I got back to edit.

I would actually be okay with that lol I was excited till I started to find the price out. No need for me to get excited for something could be 10k plus.

3:13 This backlighting improvement is real interesting to me, I'm in the market for a new TV, but now I feel like I want to wait till these hit the market. Was thinking of buying either the TLC C755 or TCL C855. I guess the new gen will be alot more expensive than what old gen is selling for currently tho. Ugh I hate the game of always feeling like you should wait.

So is the TCL X11K the replacement for last years QM8? There was so much talk about a 2025 QM9, but that seems incorrect based on what they showed at CES.
@pierrerion15 күн бұрын
Nope, there is a X11H released March 2024 in China

Groundbreaking new display technology - QDEL display at 8:58. Why so little coverage 😢 QDEL could potentially replace OLED one day!!!

Curious to better understand the difference between CrystGlow HVA vs HVA Pro High Picture Quality, are they even different? Both seem to offer wide viewing angles.
@sunarf15 күн бұрын
This.☝ I was really looking forward to the WHVA panel that Marek showed during CES 2024 and said it would be coming to their TV's in 2025. It 'seems' that they aren't calling it WHVA, but instead CrystGlow HVA and/or HVA Pro High Picture Quality. I want to know details.

last years shh77 that did not sell in the US will be hitting UK shelves on the 11th of January

My next video goes through that. There is no confirmation from TCL directly, but I believe we get QM6K, QM7K and X11K, but with different model numbers for the EU and UK, compared to the US.

@ Yes correct. But if you’re in a primarily English speaking country, would pick things up reasonably quickly. Like any country I guess. Eg to learn conversational Spanish it would be easier if living in say Spain.
@catherinegrimes230814 күн бұрын
@@johnmartin7158 I can speak bits of several languages and don't think that English is that complicated. It doesn't use genders for inanimate objects and has a minimal use of cases. But it does have a vast vocabulary and it can be very subtle, also the spelling is atrocious. He appears to be Polish and he may have picked up English as an adult. He was probably selected for his technical knowledge, which I admire. He was standing and walking, in a noisy environment and literally thinking on his feet and that makes it difficult. I could understand him and thought that he did a very good job.
