hi! this works whenever i get the “connected, no internet” prompt but whenever I unplug my TV at night and plug it in the morning, the date and time goes back to being wrong. is there a way to fix this?

I don’t believe this ish didn’t work for me… then I go and tap the systems button at the Home Screen and saw a restart button I clicked it, it started up and my internet connection was working. 9 months I’ve been factory resetting this tcl and restarting was better quicker and kept us signed in. Just find the restart button not the (reset button)

The only thing that worked for was doing a complete factory reset on my TCL tv. I’d tried every single suggestion beforehand, unplugging and plugging in the tv, restarting the router, eliminating stand bye, forgetting the wifi red and rewriting the password and more….It finally worked and connected and since the reset, hasn’t been frequently disconnecting like it used to.

Nope that procedure didn't work, but what did work was , go to settings to date time , and put it on automatic , presto that worked , I had this problem and found someone on you tube mentioned that and it worked.

Godsent. Thanks. For those whose TV cannot detect wifi, turn off the TV by holding the power off button on your remote control, then turn on the TV again; it's gonna reset the wifi thingy.

Just restart and enter your current date and time. For your remote look for the instruction given. Usually you have to long press until the volume appears on your tv.
