used to join my father in my young year's while he drove a simple scania torpedo truck 380 etc....? really was in love with that truck so enjoyable seeing that nose sticking out from the cabin, that truck sure had it's glory day's 15 year's ago, 6year's ago it was sent out to africa, it was heartbreaking to see that truck getting old and cranky/rusty, paint shore off, extra light's broken off or just didn't work anymore, i'm glad i've had some young fun memories with it ;)

And actually a used new one that arrived yesterday, a little hint is it also has a v8 and a many lights 😎 Has to be painted in company colors first.

I always wonder how do truck drivers know, where to go in the large loading/unloading terminals? Which gate etc?

Good question. There is often a security guard that is in a office were you enter, then when you give him the information he needs he calls in to the warehouse and they decide a gate for you. Some smaller companys dont have this system at all, so sometimes you shout hello hello hello to find somebody at all ha ha 😆

thats a realy nice T series. I have driven the COE version of this (R500) and the old T112 but i have always wanted to drive this generation of T series. Maybe some day il get the chance.

It is from beggining a 164 480. But now it is a R500 engine in it. And i dont now about the styling,my boss wanted it like this 👍

Nice truck, but im not a big fan of that steering wheel. A vabis steering wheel would have been much better.

Im a big truck enthusiast. I love the truck. But there is 2 minuses. If youre driving scandinavia , i suggest you get 3 axels. And that steering wheel is more for american trucks. A Vabis steering would be a lot nicer. 😉

Yes a vabis wheel would be cool but its not my truck i have all the time, many different drivers. And we haul light cargos most of the time so we dont need 3 axle all the time. We have 3 axle trucks in the company aswell. Glad you liked the truck anyway 👍😀

From begining its a T164 480 but now its a R500 engine in it
