I got this for Christmas back in 1978 and was probably my favourite present ever. Shame I burnt out the motor in 3 days and my dad got a refund and bought a different present instead, which I can't even remember. Joy and pain :'(

I had TCR by Ideal as a kid. The Ideal cars were slower than this. But if you got a car made by Tyco it went a lot faster! However, I think the Tyco cars were only compatible with one of the controllers??? Not sure, it was a long time ago... Wish I still had my TCR.

I learn that tcr just as fun as slot if not more log as you have a nice size track like yours can play for hours not as fun with small loop or small track lbs

Tyco tcr had better cars and great turns with the wall in the middle but ideal had more track ideas !!!
