Here is a method which I follow for time and work: Q. 1) Just invert the data, One day's work af A and B = 1/10+1/15= 1/6. Which means that they can together complete 1/6th part of work in 1 day, so the total work will be completed in 6 days (just invert the fraction).

Q7- Sir, If I take the y eft value 2 the a answered are different. Wx+y=Wy Put the value - 16×6=2d =48/2=24 ans.

Note: - You can take any number in Y but it should be applicable with the condition of X. Here condition is X=4Y. let me clear your doubt, if you take Y value as 2 then X will be (X = 4*2 => 8) Now X+Y = 8+2 => 10. NOW Apply in Formula W=16,X+Y=10, ==> 16*10= 2D => 160/2 => 80 so 100% work done is 80 & for 50% work done is 40.
