Instant Gratification is a problem. If you have the discipline to stop after 1 trade then day trading can work for you because there are opportunities everyday and you don't need to do a lot to get your piece of the pie. Don't be gluttonous, Don't let greed intrude. 1 piece of pie only. Control a consistent risk and be definite.

You can do both and that's fine

Yup. I would imagine one will ultimately edge out the other from a "what's more worth my time" perspective, but it doesn't mean they can't be done together.

I believe swing trading is much better than day trading in my opinion Lot of stress is involved in day trading compared to swing trading. You do not have to be at the computer while swing trading because of setting your stops and limits in advance. This is only my personal opinion.

From my personal perspective I agree. The issue that can arise with swing trading is the overnight worry. Some people will struggle with the mental part of holding positions while you sleep. I used to before a well defined strategy, but I see why it can be an issue. Very easy to go from the day trade stress to constantly looking and thinking about a position while you should be sleeping or doing something else. Depends on the person, but I think tracking the data is the key to all of this. It will tell you the truth at the end of the day
