I’m 23 I discovered this song not even a year ago and I can already tell that this song is gonna save my life during moments I don’t even expect to happen yet

It did me in 1996 when I was 24. Not just best Britpop band of the 90s but the best band of the 90s period. Over Nirvana. Even over Smashing Pumpkins. The 3 core albums, His n Hers/Different Class/This Is Hardcore, almost matches Prince's 1999/Purple Rain/Sign O The Times in the 80s.

'I never knew that you'd get married, I would be living down here on my own, on that damp and lonely Thursday all alone...' I'm just out here living "Common People"..... let's all meet in 2030!

I always change the lyrics to "I never knew that you get boyfriends i would be living down here on my own" And the final lyrics to "what are you do at sunday baby?? Would you like to meet me baby? You can even bring your boyfriends"

@@aryayudha9912 I guess I could change it to 'girlfriends', I feel you though...I like your changes! Though maybe by 2030, we'll have found someone? One can hope, right? Let's all meet in 2030, for real!

Did you notice at 03:58 the guitar cuts out? I was watching from high up in the circle and I saw that as Mark stepped forward to do the riff, on the "Oh Yeah" part of the song, some sort of connector for his guitar lead tore free of the stage flipped over and switched itself off. I felt so sorry for the poor guy. He probably got it in the neck for that.
