I don't think Jimmy Tingle made a single joke during this entire show. What a soapboxing bore.

Donald Neuhaus Guests like him were the worst on the show. They thought they were on Bill Maher's show or something and went for applause instead of laughs.

To be a bit fair I saw some comedy legends kinda silenced on tough crowd because it's a different format and some go on not having seen the show and expecting either a more political or more 'doing my bit' type of thing, so are unprepared when someone just makes fun of your stupid shirt. It throws you off your game if your aren't used to it. And the networks forced formatting and making colin do these ridiculous segments and throw to commercial stuff is honestly painful to all involved.

Way to look out for Comedy Central's time. They owe you big time, homes. You're very important.

Tingle single handedly ruined this show, Di paolo is always great though so I guess it's not all bad

not only is this fun cuz I love the show but it's crazy to see the opinions that were commonly held almost a decade ago about the Iraq war. Like, damn, popular opinion then is like the antithesis of what it is now. :(

I second that, and in 2020. What really strikes me in these episodes from 2002 to 2004 is how much has changed in terms of what can be said and even suggested on tv, but also how little has changed in terms of politics and such. Basically the same arguments from the 60s. Kinda striking. Oops I basically said that huh

It's a comedy show, you swallow your opinion and make a fucking joke. You think Patrice didn't want to start spewing his thoughts all over everybody's air time? He did, but more often than not he made a joke and moved on.
