I absolutely love that you do these! A beloved coworker has expressed interest in Weiss! I picked up a TD for him so I can teach him with another TD that I have laying around so they’re even in power 😄 These videos help out so much! I’m still not super certain on the best ways to build decks and you guys have always been my go to! 🔥

Could this deck perform decently relative to cost at locals?

Definitely!

Im somewhat confused here. I'm pretty much brand new to Weiss, but i thought you could only play a card that has a matching color in either the clock or level. So my question is, how is the lone blue Himeno meant to be played in this deck? edit: maybe im dumb and the deck isn't meant to be played until both steps are completed? Apologies in advance, still learning!

This particular Himeno is intended to be used solely for her Backup effect (the first symbol on the top left of the card), when your opponent’s character front attacks into one of your own. Character counters go straight from your hand to the waiting room, and thus never need to check for color since they don’t hit the stage. You would still need color if you wanted to play it on stage. Also note that Event counters, which also have the punch symbol, always need to check for color when used. Events always need to go to resolution zone on stage, so events always need color no matter what. Hope this clarifies everything! Feel free to ask for further clarification if necessary.

@@TressasCollectibles oh okay I see, that makes sense! The only other thing I had some trouble with (regarding the video) is at times I felt it was difficult to recognize which cards were being taken *out* of the starter deck in order to upgrade. Otherwise this was very helpful!

I lowkey expected to see the 8 standby list here despite the title saying "TD++"
