I've been hearing this stuff for over 37 years. Only when I went to the LORD, give HIM praise, glory, and honor did HE hear me and bless me in HIS time. People need to know the LORD for themselves.

2024 was the hardest time for me and my wife. My wife has been sick all year and is still sick but we keep our faith in God. This season has also brought us even closer to Him. With all these bills coming in and cost of living going up. I ask God to bless us to take care of all these bills. I came across a job that I felt like I should apply for and after applying and receiving that job. I’ve made more than enough money to cover our bills and be a blessing to others. I ask the Lord to bless the work of my hands and he has done that. I’m so grateful and I understand when the Lord does bless you that it’s to be a blessing to others.

I’m struggling with this more this year than in past years. The sowing of the last seed of the year in the regular offering, then the hyped up praise at the end of the message that always leads to a challenge to sow a large seed for the first offering of the new year. Would love to just come together get a good word, pray into the new year and go home. It seems like these services have become annual fund raisers. Very sad. 🙏🏽

When I was in the hospital with Kidney failure - you didn't heal me -you didn't hear my prayer or cry GOD DID. So if people want to give God praise let them. Please look up the wors "worship" in the Greek. I would also add that nowhere in Scripture does it command us to shout at our Thrice Holy God. In my opinion, those who feel they must shout at their congregation are trying to get their false teaching across in a more "believable" way. If a Pastor is teaching what Scripture commands, no shouting is needed because the pastor is teaching Christ Crucified and Risen. That is joyful and doesnt merit shouting. The problem with these preachers are many. For one, they want to deceive their audience to believe that the Christian life is going to be full of earthly gains and abundance but the bible doesn't teach that. I presented my sermon in my church and my main message was for them to change as in ask God to change them and allow them to be able to submit to God's Spirit so that God can have his way in their life and fight their battles in 2025. Never told anybody they will get any possessions. None of these preachers I am hearing is talking about what the audience needs to do for God, it's just what God is going to give them and do for them. They don't know what God wants to do.

The "no weapon formed against me shall not prosper" may have been for Israel but it was metaphorical. Because after that prophecy, their enemies came and they were doomed. Inly rhe Southern Kingdom were able to come back after their captivity. And if we continue in the passage, Isaiah said this was the "hertiage" of the servants of the Lord. Therefore it sounds metaphorical to me. The principle we can take from this is when we trust the Lord and stay close to him, there will be no weapons formed againt that will prosper spiritual because Christ defeated them on the cross.
