TDA2003 Bridged Amplifier Design and Build Tutorial

In this video I'll show you how I designed and built my TDA2003 bridged amplifier. First I'll show you the important components in the schematic and explain what they do. Then I'll show you the PCB I designed, and discuss some things to keep in mind when laying out the PCB for an audio amplifier. At the end of the video, I'll hook up the amp and play some music so you can see how it sounds.

Really like this and I'm considering building it. I've been looking at some Chinese amps on eBay using the same chip but love the way you are using the two chips. Will check out the build documents... nice job here, very nice!

I found this TDA2003 bridge configuration in a Motorola HSN4035C amplified speaker, (the kind you find in police cars) however the Motorola circuit also includes an opto-coupler on the input and some kind of preamp chip. I love the sound quality these little Motorola amplified speakers produces and would like to reproduce a few of them for use with some 3.2 Ohm non-amplified Motorola speakers. Unfortunately I can't identify the preamp chip so I'm going to delete that part and build the circuit much like you have in the video, with the exception that I will adjust my filters to maximize voice frequencies only. I hope I can reproduce the essence of the Motorola sound with my version. Thanks for the TDA file, that should save me some time.

I have 2 speaker of dimesion 8 inch & I want to drive it. So which amplifier I use for the best quality of sound?please suggest me...........

Amit Prajapati i will suggest tda7377.or tda7294 if is difficult to make i will say much better is 2030 bridge so it will mono = 2*1 =60watts max so if you make a stereo mode will 120*2 so if you make it will drive perfect

"polarity of the speaker doesn't matter"... really?! cause i'm pretty sure it matters, ALOT.

If you want to make a speakers array, the polarity matter because you want the whole speakers to be at phase, but if you use a sole speaker, is the same if you connect in weathever way.
