The reason why everyone hates MW3 is because the campaign was so shit. (And I blame IW for that.) But in terms of multiplayer they did a fantastic job with post-launch contents. I think this COD deserves more love man.

I understand why people were upset about how loud the footstep audio was in mw2 (2022) but I liked it. I hate how in a lot of these cods you can’t hear foot step audio at all even if you run awareness. And hot take here I hate dead silence in cod. Because it seems like dead silence mutes footstep audio when it should just decrease it by like 30 percent or something

The problem with loud footsteps is that it inadvertently buffs dead silence/ninja. If footstep audio was reasonable there would be less of a reason to run DS. And just nerfing DS without tuning down footstep audio leads to slow gameplay. Cold War did it right, footsteps without ninja were consistent, you could tell where someone was when they were close and you knew that they were in a general area when farther away. Even then ninja didn't completely kill audio, like you were saying, you could still hear someone when they were close to you.

I love the setting of Infinite Warfare tbh. The most distant future compared to other games, including Black Ops It’s the jetpacks that don’t appeal to me in terms of gameplay, and it’s obvious why the game was so hated - people got the absolute opposite of what they asked for. Maybe IW wouldn’t receive such negative feedback if it came out much later.

im gonna say it. vanguard and mw2 aren't bad. vg took everything loved about mw19's movement, turned it up to 11, and put in a much faster paced game. the only issue was the ww2 theme, which is overdone. and with mw2, they were trying a ton of new things, but with poor execution. i'm glad SHG fixed all of the game's problems with mw3.

I honestly find modern warfare 2 the new one as a good game. Sure I don’t really care for some of the mechanics and the pacing is a little too fast. And the campers are the worst part. But I like it because of the gunplay, and a lot of other things. And for the fact that I can play as homelander. I only like his personality when he acts like a regular villain and I like his design. Homelander is one of my favorite villains.

Glad to see Ghosts get a bit of redemption here. I always thought it was overhated. It has issues, but it's still pretty fun. I have a video idea: Ranking each game based on one life. You play TDM on each game, but you only give yourself one life, and however many kills you get in that life is that game's score. Then we can find out which game has the best score. No restrictions on class or anything, use whatever you want.

To be honest, Call of Duty Ghosts was extremely underrated. Sure, the campaign had a suck-ass cliffhanger and we never got a sequel, but aside from that, the campaign was definitely different from regular COD campaigns. One of the most intriguing things from this game that kept it alive was probably Extinction. It was definitely a different twist other than the original round-based zombies, but it was new and was honestly pretty fun. So over all the pros and cons of that game, Call of Duty Ghosts was my first call of duty, and it is still on my top 3 favorites.

As humble as the community feels toward Ghosts lately, we tend to forget how insanely shitty the game truly was back in 2013. At that point in COD franchise, we haven’t really had an overall BAD game yet. Every game before Ghosts was generally acceptable, if not universally praised.
