It's a shame you never got the FFG 2nd edition out to play - the gameplay is identical (as far as I've seen) but the art is just so much better, especially with the on-map tiles. It didn't have the glowy pieces but the minis were super detailed. One suggestion to anyone interested in getting the game - get color coordinated d6s (3 apiece should work) for each faction. A cheap upgrade but makes it much easier than passing dice around, and gives it a little flair. Either way, glad it's available again! Never had a bad time with this one, even heavy Euro gamers have begrudgingly admitted it was fun.
