I told him one week before it went to change it and they prefer to buy a touchscreen radio 🤷♂️ I guess it was more important

I got a MK3 jetta that broke an instrument cluster(no gas guage, speedometer, etc) and i found a replacement in a junkyard. That one worked for a few months but died, too. Have you worked on a VW like that?

Bleed the coolant out?

To fill the system , I hook up a vacuum pump to the small hose going to the coolant ball while adding coolant to the ball and squeeze the larger hoses to burp air. There is a drain on the bottom of the radiator to drain it if that is what you need to do but some coolant will stay in the block etc.
