I would like to experience it, but the overall cost ! With out a close circuit buddy it's not worth it ........... :-(

+Michael Walsh Michael, I heard that it's worth it to switch to CCR if you already do a bunch of open circuit dives using Trimix or Heliox anyway. Helium is more expensive now than before and open circuit wastes a lot of it when you exhale. Try doing the math for the number of deep dives that you anticipate on doing for the next year. How much would your Trimix or Heliox fills and everything else cost vs. the cost of a CCR?
