It is 4am and I just watched this video. I had to contain myself so my neighbors won’t report me for loud noise. I was in a bad car accident two weeks ago where I was hit by an 18 wheeler. Last night I was tired and wanted to give up because the state trooper wrote the report as if it was my fault and everyday it’s something worse and I cried so bad. My dad told me GOD didn’t want me to move to Texas and this why everything was happening to me. I made a decision to start over and leave a place that had dried up for me and my family can’t understand that. I turned my tv on because I couldn’t sleep from crying and the first video popped up was Bishop TD Jakes “The rainmaker “ and then tonight this video. I have done more in the few months since my move to Dallas than I have ever accomplished in my whole life in my hometown. I needed this word. This was confirmation to keep fighting. Thank you first to the most high for everything that you have sacrificed. I did not grow up religious but, grew up Catholic. I lost my father at 6 yrs. old after that we really didn’t go to church. However I never stopped believing in god, I never was bitter and angry about losing my dad or, about anything that went wrong in my life. My faith in him never changed. Almost everything that I know about him I learned on my own and because I sought to learn. I am by no means a bible thumper or a holy roller. The one thing I know is that everyone deserves to have some sort of peace and happiness. I truly believe that. I also believe even the ones that cross our paths that are not the nicest. If you think about it, you might not know that they were never showed any kind of love or warmth. That they were probably abandoned all the time or, even emotionally, physically hurt in some kind of way. You just never know and, you should never compare or judge someone. The only thing that you can do is just pray and send them loving & healing light and just forgive those that have wronged you. I've been so distracted by politics. Was blown out of the water by the RED all over the country, most being white America that are Christians. I began feeling some type of way about white ministers I've listened to that were vigorously supporting Trump. Deeply hurt by their alliance for racism, corruption, white supremist, etc. For many the President-elect was for a moral victory, not political. Red / White America the world sees your heart, you want the status quo, not transformation of America, not an America for all, but continued dominance by white America. Christians voted this way! People of color in these churches - GET OUT!! So grateful for this Word! I can breathe again!
