So I have the same year model which sat outside for about 2 years. I replaced everything. Carb, plug, coil pack, air filter, and fuel lines. I also got rid of the fuel filter inside the tank and relocated it to the fuel line running to the carb. Reason I did that the float in a new carb kept getting stuck and causing gas to pour out from the bottom. Hope this helps

Thanks for the advice! After this video I actually took the carb back apart and realized I put a little plastic spacer on the wrong side of the needle/slide spring in the carburetor. I put it back on the right way and it runs great now!
