Fun fact: you can now solo fallen with spawning towers because of merc base, idk if it was possible before but if it was merc base still makes it a lot easier

It's one of the best Towers for a REASON. It's a Lvl 150 Spawner Unit so the grind needs to be worth It.

The one main thing I would say about Mercenary base, is it isn't exactly "idiot proof." Essentially, if you suck at using it, it sucks in return. But, overall, it is pretty op for a spawner tower, especially due to the airdrop ability and the unit diversity. (Just like elf camp.) You could probably clutch a lot of runs with it.

20% dmg buff alone makes it op, void reaver can barely get half way in a duo with that extra dmg

in my opinion it is a low a-tier tower because of how hard it is to put in a load out and the placement limit in quad games but that 20 percent damage buff is good in quad

some people dont acknowledge that the field medic works for other units so I’m not sure if the medic can heal a military base when it directly rams into a enemy who has higher hp but it’ll prob most likely heal it when it rammed into smthin and lost hp but it’s also gonna be good for units from crook boss and elf camp etc.

This tower is a great tower, you can deal up to 30k damage if you use it correctly. 2 medics + 7 riot guards in solo will do 30k damage to enemies. A riot guard has 2.25k hp and with a medic it gets about 4.5k hp, so having 7 riot guards with 4.5k hp each will make the riot guards able to tank 30k hp, easily beating many bosses in the game and helping a lot.

why getting a demoman... when you can just place a lv 2 merc base with grenadiers, that not only deal more damage, but they're also better because they spawn pretty quickly. AND IT'S ALSO CHEAPER

And your argument of it being from real life is pointless cause you could say that about anything being copied. If you compare the towers side by side they both are similar. Both have riot shields both have rifle men. Both have explosives. They took tdx's tower and changed 50% of it. It still looks alot like the barracks from tdx.
