تدشين جسر الشندغة الجديد بتصميمه العصري الفريد

اطلع صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي، رعاه الله، على تفاصيل الجسر الجديد الذي يعد من المشاريع المتميزة بتصميمه العصري الفريد، حيث أوضح سعادة مطر الطاير أن الجسر يأتي ضمن المرحلة الثالثة من المراحل الخمسة لمحور الشندغة، حيث من المنتظر انجازه بنهاية 2022.ويُعدّ القوس المعماري الذي يعلو مسار السيارات والمُستلهم من علامة "اللانهائية" المُستخدمة في الرياضيات (Infinity) من أبرز سمات تصميم الجسر بارتفاع 42 متراً عند قمة القوس، في حين يصل طول الجسر إلى نحو 295 متراً، منها 150 متراً أعلى خور دبي، ويتألف من ستة مسارات في كل اتجاه، إضافة إلى معبر للمشاة، ويستلزم تشييده 2400 طن من الحديد، بينما يرتفع الجسر 15 متراً ونصف المتر فوق مستوى منسوب مياه خور دبي، بما يسمح بمرور مختلف أنواع السفن المُبحِرة في مياه الخور.أما المرحلة الرابعة من محور الشندغة وتتضمن تنفيذ مشروع امتداد جسر الشندغة، فستشمل تطوير شارع الخليج وتــــقــاطـــع شـــارع الــخـليج مع شـارع أبـو هــيـل وتطوير تقاطع شارع الشيخ راشد مع كل من شارع جميرا و شارع المينا وشارع المنخول.
HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has viewed Al Shindagha Bridge features, whose iconic architectural design will make it a unique landmark. Briefing HH Sheikh Mohammed, HE Mattar Al Tayer said that the new bridge is being developed under the third phase of the Shindagha Corridor Project, following the completion of the first two phases. The bridge extends about 295 m, 150 m of which is over the Dubai Creek, and consists of six lanes in each direction in addition to a pedestrian crossing. The Bridge rises 15.5 m above the water level, which allows the passage of various types of boats plying the Creek. The bridge’s iconic design features an architectural arch shaped in the form of the mathematical symbol for infinity. The top of the infinity arch rises 42 m. About 2,400 tons of steel will be used in the construction of the bridge.
Phase IV of the Project covers the construction of the extension of Shindagha Bridge. It includes the improvement of Al Khaleej Street along with its intersection with Abu Hail Street, and the improvement of the intersection of Sheikh Rashid Street with Jumeirah Street, Al Mina Street and Al Mankhoul Street.
