He is an old soul! He has always loved old jazz. This song was written in 1934-35 for a musical/movie. Minna Seo is only 20. She is known in Korea as Princess of Jazz. Her voice embodies the sound of the women from the 1930s They sound amazing together. Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong did this song too. Not sure when that was. I would love to see V bring back this jazz era!

This was the best gift. You can tell that Tae really loves and takes Jazz seriously. He nailed not only the vocals but the whole atmosphere of Jazz from his clothing, the set, the live instruments. I love how Tae and Minna Soe's voices blend and I hope they do many more songs/performances together. She did the backing vocals for the version of It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas that Tae gave us for Christmas last year. I am so happy Tae is pursuing his love of Jazz and I'm sure he'll also pursue his love of R&B/Soul as well. I've been eager for his solo album and his performances like this make me even more so. I can't wait to see the various genres that Tae explores in his Chapter 2. Jazz is timeless and the type of music he can easily continue doing well into his advanced age. V's voice is super unique so I think I would recognise him right away bc no one sounds like him. Even if he is being compared to other legendary singers such as Frank Sinatra or Michael Buble or someone else. There is a certain warmth in Tae's voice that I would always recognise. He has loved jazz for a long time and some of his songs have jazz vibes too so I love that he chose to do such a performance. It's right up his alley and you can see he genuinely enjoys it. This makes me even more excited for his solo album.

He is a lyrical baritone that can belt, sing in tenor, and has an insane falsetto. Funny you were talking about Mariah Carey and Christmas because V release a song around Christmas in Dec 2021, Christmas Tree for a kdrama and it broke all kinds of records too. The song is not about Christmas but was release around that time.
