That was fun; I love the idea of a permanent circus! And as usual, the Majestic is Majestic!! :-) Incidentally, many years ago when I was taught water rescue, we were specifically taught to grab a victim's hair to pull them to the surface. The strands of hair are easy to grasp, and the pulling force is spread out over the entire surface area of the scalp so it's a good "hoisting point". Think of it this way - you're not tearing out hair; you're grabbing the entire top of their skull all at once. Plus, you're getting their head above water first, which is the main point - clear the airway. So, yeah, hoisting by the hair is not as dangerous or surprising as it at first sounds...

Ahh, SCUBA diving in middle America. I'm in Lexington, KY and the nearest cert dive site was a quarry 2 hours north. I made it to the cert dive but the thought of certifying in a cold low visibility quarry caused too much anxiety.

I used to hike those trails! The story behind how the lake was formed is very cool! It used to be a limestone quarry and there was an underground river under it. One night, the floor of the quarry collapsed and when the workers came in the next day...a lake! I've never heard the story about the bus, but on a day when the water is clear, you can see railroad tracks and equipment. Okay, you made it to Cass County and bypassed Logansport again! Come visit us!!

This is a Highly offensive post; you are a class "A" Anti-Clownite. Some of my best friends are clowns. They can't help it; they were born that way. Today in 2016, I am fully pushing for Clown Rights to Vote; use Bathrooms and non-discrimination of Clowns. As Bozo once said..... " I have a dream of little clown children and little gay children and little straight children playing together in harmony." "I have a dream of a Clown couple ordering a wedding cake from a non-clown bakery"..." I have a dream of Clowns getting legally married and producing little baby clowns as the beautiful fruit of their colorful loins"....I have a Dream of Clown families living in neighborhoods of non-clown families"......."I Have a Dream"

A drone shot of my old hometown of 700 was shared quite a bit since we don't typically get a perspective like that.
