I think we all need to appreciate Adam's committment to this channel. 1500 videos without missing a SINGLE day is an incredible accomplishment! Living under stressful conditions, having to make content no matter what, then edit, then upload, and never miss a day. This is Adam's calling (even though we may not really know what this is going to be), and he is lucky to have found something that he is passionate about and has the courage to go after it, and stay with it with passion. You are building a legacy here, a real piece of American history! I have the greatest appreciation for what you are doing, and your commitment is greatly appreciated, we have never had to miss a single day! Fun facts for you. The 1960's Batmobile was previously owned by me. We sold it to that museum back i9n the early 1990's. Barris actually had nothing to do with that car. The Barris customs lettering was added later and the door bat was sent to George for the signature. Barris actually had nothing to do with that car being built. This car was was built by Fantasy Cars in EL Cajon CA.

Adam, According to my research, the Seattle Space Needle was completed by and opened in 1962. And the Gatlinburg Space Needle was completed by and opened in 1969.

Yes and Seattle's was built for the World's Fair there. It's about 200 feet taller, plus IMO it looks nicer:)

You guys took me back to a simpler, and in some ways, happier time in my life with this video. Every other year vacations to the mountains of North Carolina with my younger brother and parents (alternate years it was Myrtle Beach or somewhere in Florida if we were going on a "long" vacation), my high school graduation when I packed my AMC Gremlin and headed out for two weeks of solo camping and hiking in the mountains (first two nights were washed out due to torrential rains and I spent them in a little Mom and Pop motel there in Gatlinburg), my first solo trip to Pigeon Forge when I spent almost a week wandering around Gatlinburg and the surrounding area, a honeymoon, a month spent getting my head around a tragedy I witnessed while on the job and the end of my first marriage. The Gatlinburg area hold many fond memories and a very few not so fond but still valuable memories for me. Again thank you for this video and keep them coming!

Adam there is an abandoned chair lift that you can go to.. You will see the empty parking lot at the where the road goes into a T intersection on the left after you turn onto the main street in Gatlinburg... You can go up the side of the mountain and see the lifts still in place on the woods.. Spa Guy

Ok, I'm from Seattle and I remember the Seattle World's Fair from April 1962 until October 1962. The Space Needle was built for that fair, it was completed prior to opening in April 1962.

Adam! you have to tour the gatlinburg inn next to the incline! cool history! they will show you the room where Rocky Top song was written! You also need to get info on that mansion (at the left at 1:50 )it has history of russian mafia/questionable roots it is usually empty! Then you need to see Elkmont the ghost town right inside the smoky mts! THEN come to Chattanooga and tour the abandoned tiki house from the 70's they just featured in the daily mail! And the Space House in Signal Mtn! CONGRATS ON 1500
