It is so nice to see you back! Please accept my thoughts and prayers regarding your dear Mother! My mom passed away at 59 about 4 years ago to cancer. She would have been 64 next month and she was also a hairdresser for over 30 years. I miss her everyday! Personally, I always loved your "Motherly care" videos as it always helped filled apart of myself who just wanted her mama. I am 37 years old, but you are never too old for that kind of comfort and love. I look forward to anything you make; thank you for being a special vessel to those who really need it

I fondly remember your horoscopes for the month and birthday shout outs too. Sorry to hear about your Mom, hang on to her as long as you can. My Dad outlived my Mum by 11 years which surprised us all, but then we lost him, initially to dementia 4 years ago and he finally passed last April. Frankly it was grim. I'm also in my 60s (a Grandad with 4 grandkids) so you and your family situation are very relatable. Hi Paulo! I’m so sorry that you’ve lost both your mom and dad! Dementia is such a life robbing illness for all involved, I’m sorry that your dad and all of you had to go through it. Thank you for your sentiments about my mom. It’s definitely been life altering, but we are hanging onto every moment that we have with her. I will definitely be bringing back the birthday/horoscope ones again. Please feel free when your month of birth pops up that you leave your name for a shoutout. 😃 Doesn’t it feel like a mistake to be saying that you’re in your 60’s? Thank you for this wonderful video it was so nice! I was just thinking the other day I wish there was a way to just reach out and tell all ASMRtists how much I appreciate them. I do not have a calming voice and I would be petrified to make a video. I can't believe you guys have the gumption to do it. Considering how much I watch I am just eternally grateful for you. I think that for the the most part those of us that create these videos are intimidated by putting ourselves "out there" but the desire to help people overrides that scary feeling and we push through the fear. I know that is the case with me. I have to take some deep breaths right before I start recording to tame the nerves and then once I start it's smooth sailing. 😊 Then of course once the video is released I've got the nerves inside of whether it will be received well. 😀 If you like the food descriptions, I do feature that at the end of my new video, the "hotel check in" one. Hi Kate, I have gotten migraines since I was 20 I understand completely about the bright lights triggers. I lost my Mom almost 8 years ago, we were so close I still miss her very much. My favorite types of videos are hotel check ins with soft typing and whispering, hair salon, filling paper envelopes with different dried herbs/flowers, scooping into the little bowls, crushing the herbs, writing on the little packets. Prayers for your Mom and you as well 💖💛

Oh my Kathy ❤ I know exactly how you feel. My Mom was diagnosed with Non small cell lung cancer 11 years ago. I actually worked for the pulmonary doctor then I was her nurse. I quit my job and cared.for her intil she passed. It was very hard but Im blessed to have been able to be with her until the end. My family didnt live close so i did it all. No regrets. Those videos have helped me a lot when I’m laying awake and can’t sleep and my mind is just racing. Hearing the facts really helps distract me from my racing thoughts and I drift off to sleep so much faster with those. I also really enjoy your hair salon videos with hair cutting and hair washing sounds. I enjoy restaurant role plays as well. I think in the past you did a few videos where you read menus. I love hearing all the food descriptions from those. I also enjoy videos of you flipping through magazines. Soft spoken videos are my favorite, but whispering is okay too. I do enjoy ones where you alternate between a soft spoken voice and whispering. Anyway, thanks for all that you do!! You are one of the best ASMRtists out there! You are so sweet and comforting, and your videos are ones that I always find myself returning to. 💕

hello again. while you where counting up your family members, i was imagining an ikebana arrangement. flowers, plants, branches ( can be dried ?) representing, for example, your family. somehow i get a feeling that you are gifted in design and arrangement of decor elements. your large, blessed family as a vague blueprint for such an arrangement should make for a harmonius impliment. i dont know how much it would offer for an ASMR video, but thats my impression that your input echoes back.🏵so long, cheers🏵

Having my mojito-lime iced tea with you while I study for a test! Love your tea cozy and it's great to 'meet' you (and your 'about me' section is not boring at all! --also, wow how exciting about meeting your missing family! We found out that my mémé's mother's grandfather changed their last name to French (double-barreled*) ones during a time of political upheaval so we always thought that family were French but it turns out they were Irish!). In terms of favourite styles of videos, I like kind of procedural things like cooking ASMR, Hairstyle/salon visits, Magazine viewings, etc., but honestly, overall for me the best videos are just like you said, one's wherein you can connect with the artist where they feel genuine and you're definitely one of those people for me! As for what's been going on for the past year, I am sending you the best wishes and metaphorical hugs. For my family, we have dementia on both sides (both early and late stage), so I've seen 2 generations endure the stages of care-giving involved and it's definitely something that can take over your life but I'm so glad it seems you and your mum have a wonderful support system! Yes, it’s been a long road, even though it’s only been a year being the caregiver and watching someone you love go through something like this is pretty heart wrenching. I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve had to deal with dementia in your family. It’s a horrible thing that robs everyone involved. My aunt had dementia, and we just lost her last year. That is really something that you found out that you thought you originated from France and meanwhile your family was Irish. That’s quite a difference. It’s really fun and interesting finding out where family heritage comes from and fun facts about your ancestors. You really do have to go into it though, knowing that you could find something that you weren’t looking for . 🫨😃

Ooh that's so exciting! Thank you for being open to the ideas! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. It is tough, but honestly, my family has become a lot closer and I got to spend Fridays with my mémé recording her memories for our family and cooking together and then later having dinner together until the end. Very, very special getting to say goodbye with intention. I'm so sorry to hear about your aunt, may she rest in peace. Haha, at least that vein of the family for sure it was! The rest though were all from France and then Canada so the Irish ends up being a fairly small percentage for me but still, the things you find out! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! 😊
