This was a lovely moment, I needed this after a really rough week. I have commented before. You remind me so much of my grandmother. Tea ceremonies mean so much to me. Now I am craving good homemade Chinese. Thank you, such a beautiful soul.

This was amazing to watch. Not only informative, but peaceful, and relaxing. You have a special talent for it. But, stop trying to appease the perpetually offended, professional-victims of the world. You’re not doing anything wrong, or hurting anyone. If anyone ever says they’re offended at something you’re doing, either ignore them altogether, or tell them to watch another channel. This was fantastic. Thank you for taking the time :-)

I think I also need it after a rough couple of days... All traditional cooking is like that, even in countries with recipes, I think! Families will have dishes that are just passed down orally and by experience... and then I try to write down how to make my favourite Czech dishes for my foreign friends and it goes "some potatoes, some sauerkraut, some sour cream, cook for some time, maybe throw in this and this and this spice depending on what you have and what you like... oh, right, you probably don't know what you like... well try it". :D (And the main trick is to cook the potatoes and the sauerkraut separately at first.)

Her voice is lovely and her knowledge are wonderful! From an introverted vegan- I hope I'm not overstepping by saying that it's not the mqjority of vegetarians feelings that get hurt when folks eat the foods they love. It doesn't sit right to hear things like "no offense but" though, but that applies to most situations I think :) keep being sweet and excellent!!

I didn't know there was such a thing as Hawthorne berry tea. When I was a kid, living in a suburb of Montreal, we had a lone Hawthorne tree on the border with our neighbour. One day, when it was in season, my dad went and picked a bunch of the berries and made a batch of jam. They were quite good that way as well, but not sour, as he had added sugar.

I wonder if it is the same hawthorn tree we have in Britain? but the berries in your tea look much larger than ours
@sparrow57012 жыл бұрын
It is! In the U.K. we have “common hawthorn”, whereas the fruits of “Chinese hawthorn” are much bigger!
@yanghaiying2 жыл бұрын
I agree. I remember the wild berries and dates were much smaller and sour before commercial consumption. Now we can understand the reason.

What’s wrong with using a recipe? If you’re not using a recipe, you’re at least combining recipes. Always something negative.
