Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck was in London this past summer and got a crash course on manners when he sat down with etiquette coach William Hanson and TV host Vernon Kay.

This young gentleman William Hanson actually makes a pretty serious and precious job. His way of teaching the etiquette is informative, fun, somewhat sarcastic and self-ironic and packed with finest british humor, but always with great conclusion why and how some things should be done this way and not that way. It's always a great pleasure and fun to watch his sessions. Big respect!

William has explained where the "sticking out your pinkie" most likely comes from. And therefore they really shouldn't do it. It was meant as a warning that you were dealing with a sexually transmitted disease...

"So talk to me about the locker room" ... "cowboy boots are marvellous" - William is definately more flirty in this one.

I thought the teacher had the hots for Luck. But anyway, I love this piece for Luck is natural, relaxed in it. He seems to do better in Europe with interviews than in the US. With hundreds of microphones thrushed his way with questions, he stutters a bit, and seems to have his brain working faster than the words coming out of his mouth. But here, just completely relaxed.

Does one always have as many items to eat as are displayed on the table? It looks impressive, but what if one does not eat it all? I can see having one sandwich and a sweet with your tea each day, but I can not imagine eating everything presented every afternoon. What would a typical afternoon tea at home with an unexpected guest look like?
