I've got a really bad feeling that harriet will die in the final battle... And considering her line about hoping she'll still be around to see scales fully shift, I feel like Harriet will fatally injured, causing scales to snap and go full dragon in a moment of pure rage. She'd still see scales fully shift before she dies, but it would be in her last moments...

This is such a wholesome moment that I'm going to cry over when this is finished. Because I'm certain one of these lovely ladies(and I have a bad feeling I know which, but I REALLY hope it's neither) isn't going to be coming back on the return train. Really amazing how you've built this world and these characters, Eris. I beg you, PLEASE DON'T END THIS SERIES LIKE YOU DID WITH CYN!!!! I can't have two heartbreaks in a year with ASMR stories.

Ok so there's a storytelling rule where you use the third outcome tha comes to mind because it normally means that most people wont predict what's going to happen but it will still make sense to them so with that in mind 1st thought Harriet dies 2nd thought Cypher dies 3rd thought Scales dies It's over for us guys sorry

Can see Harriet's logic in "if latched on, can come off"... i agree with it... but at what cost and to whom? Getting some very serious Yu-Gi-Oh 'no matter what', supernatural finale 'carry on wayward son' vibes here... caught me by surprise today eris with this early, was actually thinking thurs. Still amazing storytelling skill though
