"If you want your 'yes' to have any value, you have to be comfortable with your 'no'." That hit me. Harder than anything I've ever heard in my life. I was sitting at work trying so hard not to cry. They penetrated me at my core. Because I have been living my life having everybody around me making my decisions for me and more than half of those decisions I regret. Because I said yes when I needed to say no. And I've said yes to way too much that has been pulling me down and pushing back away from leaping over that edge. I was inspired by a recent friend who told me about your work and I thought to myself, "I just gotta see what she's about!!" I am telling you right now... I did not expect you to be this impactful on my life. Watching your videos makes me feel like I need to meet you face to face and soak up all your wisdom! It feels like I'm this small little human who needs help. And a lot of times I don't even want to admit it. But for a split second, I was looking through the lense of the real me and how I see my future. For a split second, all possibilites of being the me I want to become opened up in view. But I'm scared. I'm so scared of making mistakes. I'm so scared of becoming successful. I live in fear and its so hard to leap. Sometimes it feels like theres not enough passion to leap. And sometimes fear is too much that it makes it even harder. However, there is something inside me that keeps pulling me to learn. It keeps urging me to seek out my passion and to fight for what I love. And you have helped made all of this so much easier for me. The more I listen to you, the better it gets. I don't know how you do it! But it's incredible, Lisa. Thank you!

One of my favorite religious leaders once said "a friend is someone who helps you be better" or something like that ... I live in a lonely life at times but desire so badly a tribe of those who encourage me to be the woman I dream of. I've made a habit of calling you, and a handful of others my friends. I listen, I learn, I go and grow... Thanks for being a true friend Lisa!

Wow, Lisa thank you I came upon this video today after setting my foot down on a situation and to a person who was hurting me and tried to revenge me for something they didnt even know that they had no right or reason to revenge me on but i stood my ground and turned this person away from entering my household and cause me more suffering along with causing suffering to my kids. I told this person that i would not let him enter my home again until he asked for forgiveness and respected me and my kids who are his too and really demanded that he let me live my life happily and freely and demanded he change and look at life with us as a blessing and stop hurting us because we need to live in peace and freely and stand tall and with pride and viewing this just confirmed that my path is in the right direction. Thank you and thank God!

Dear Lisa, I was on the verge of drowning myself in deep sea water. I didnt wanna die but I wanted an escape. My mind was draining the soul out of my body. I felt hopeless and worthless. Despite being on psychology therapy, it didnt help me at all. I was scrolling through Facebook one day and i came across your video "These 3 sentences will change your life". I've watched so many inspiring videos but nothing made any sense to me. At first i watched your video because i really loved your English accent. I'm an admirer of language. But once i watched the video, i felt alive. I felt that im breathing again. I realised that your video actually spoke to my soul. In July last year, i looked at myself in the mirror and i hated the reflection. I realised that i actually hated mirrors since i was very young because i didnt like the way i looked. If i stare long enough into my eyes in the mirror, i tend to cry because i feel sad for myself as im going through so much hardships. Ive always been an ambitious person but all my ambitions drowned coz i cant think clearly. My mind was a mess. On that day, it striked me that if i hate myself, the way i look and my first impression on myself, how would anyone else love me or even want to be a friend of mine. I was such a negative person. I used to be this cheerful girl who made everyone happy but I've lost that girl now. That day, i decide to buy myself a huge mirror and look at myself, look at all my flaws and how can i make them better. But to this day i havent done it because i was afraid of being happy about myself, afraid that it wouldnt last. As the new year begun, i promised myself that im going to give myself the happiness and peace i wanted and to have a great year. Right now i happy that my mirror idea was similar to what you have done to yourself. I know that i have started in the right place in my transformation pathway. I'm glad I came across your video, and i know now that im not alone and there is still hope for me. Just do me a favour and keep doing what you're doing now coz the world needs more love. The world now is dying of depression. Reach out to people they need help. Lisa Nichols, thank you so very much from the bottom of my heart. Love you from all the way here in Malaysia.

When you walk pass a mirror, compliment the woman in that mirror. The GREATEST # BOL I've had out of many...Lisa, you stated you were about to "sentence yourself to a very dim, dark future" bc of the guilt you felt about putting your son in danger. I am a bright, brilliant, creative, powerful, compassionate woman - who is LIVING that self-imposed sentence. 10 years ago I was in law school. For the past 6 yrs, Ive lived my life in isolation, leaving my apartment one day a week, not interacting w anyone - not coming thru on my Divine Assignment - its a cycle of guilt causing more guilt. I'm miserable, but havent changed it. I know I've wandered far from my essence. I'm now 52 yrs old and I have days where I'm beginning to fear I just might die with my "music still inside me." I'm just starting your course, "28 Days to Results," and I will do the Mirror Work exercises. I've got a great contribution to give, that I know. IDK what's got me "stuck," it just may be living out a sentence I imposed on myself for my own...stuff. Any other guidance?

Since finding your videos, the one thing which really spoke to me was how you found a way to build a future while you were still in the pain. I am trying to do that now, before I would be scared of change, of walking towards the path I know was meant for me. But now, I push myself beyond my limits and am breaking the cycle of those before me to work towards the future I want. I have realised many times this year, that all the skills I have learned and the accomplishments I made cannot be taken from me. Thank you Lisa, for proving that you can live your truth, without another's permission, without letting fear hold you back. Thank you for existing, and I shall exist, authentically, unapologetically too.

"Replace fear for information" "If you want your yes to have ANY VALUE, you NEED to be more COMFORTABLE with your no" 'Inspiration always fits" " 7 reasons why you forgive yourself everyday" this is what spoke to me the most after watching this, thank you. I take out 15 to 30 min out of my day everyday maybe even 3 times a day when I need that extra push of inspiration/motivation to keep going and not give up, to listen to a speaker or influencer and so far you and David goggins are my daily go to's. The world is one big community and each person is bigger than themselves our purpose comes down to one thing to make our world a better place.

I TOTALLY agree! Fear is not an enemy. I dare say that none of our emotions are enemies. In the context of self mastery, our emotions always contain information. The key is learning how to read those emotions and what they're telling you. They tell you about things that you're not consciously aware of. "Go get the information that fear is telling you that you need, and fear will be satisfied and go away." Put the plan in place that your fear is telling you that you need. Yes! That's part of the road to living your dreams, I've found. Thanks Lisa!

I don't usually comment but I felt compelled to do it after your request. What spoke to me about this video was that of in order for our yes to have any value, us having to be comfortable with our no. I have been dealing with the consequences of this not having been the case for me 0 and havung given resentful, overburdened yeses- and the cost is too high. I am setting it as an intention and commitment to, going forward, only saying YES if it is a grateful, loving one. Thank you !

Hi Lisa, I try and tell everyone I meet with such enthusiasm that their eyes light up in anticipation of pulling you up on "KZbin" which makes me smile, since I know they will be thoroughly blessed. My takeaways from tonight's episode "Teach People How to Treat You" are many: It is clear that I must embrace mirror work and forgive myself for a lot of things I have been holding myself hostage over, knowingly and unknowingly. Another profound moment for me is that I am used to "being on" for everyone and everything not realizing that my Yes to everyone was losing its value because at times I did it grudgingly and resentfully, because I was tired at the time they asked although I genuinely meant it when I told them they could call on me, anytime. Again not wanting to displease others, I always acquieced. Also, not getting proper rest was another big one. Awhile back, I started going to bed at 10:00pm to get 8hrs of sleep because deep down I realized thay it was necessary for me in order to function at my optimum level, but then I fell off that wagon and opened myself up once again, to my detriment, which resulted in me not giving myself the first opportunity to care for me. It is so amazing how we blame others for what we really have authority over and have mistakenly given away. I now understand that there is no guilt in taking care of me; there is no guilt in demanding respect from others who think that it is okay to be disrespectful just because I refuse to respond in kind. It is okay to stand up for myself even if others are taken aback because my new posture is foreign to them because of the way in which I misrepresented myself in the past over things I was well deserving of. Like so many others who have commented regarding your impact and assistance in transforming their lives, I join them in saying "I love you" and "Thank You" for being so transparent and authentic about your personal journey which teaches us (those who are willing to listen and change) that God can also use us for the good of others as we navigate through our imperfections and frailties and social, physical, environmental, mental, financial, and spiritual woes we encounter in life. I can feel your genuine heart for all of God's people as you effortlessly raise your voice in harmony with ours as one who has been there, at times is still there, and knows how to be abased and abound in bad times and in good times. (Philippians 4:12). Just know that your inner resolve and humility shines brightly for all of us to see!!! God bless you Lisa Nichols!!!😊😇💯💕

For the first time since I can remember, I'm taking the first full week of the year off from work and family. My employer has consistently solidified their intent to NOT help me move up in the organization. To the point, I'm working in a dead space and have been for SEVEN YEARS. During this time off, my home is getting some much needed attention, I'm doing yoga and nurturing my mind and heart with helpful messages. My expectations by the end of this seven day hiatus are: 1. Write down what I want and need. 2. Assess the tools that are readily available to me now. 3. Find out what is needed for me to fulfill #1. 4. Go get it. Thanks for being part of this process.

Lisa, I’ve been viewing your you tube videos for over two years. When I saw your first video; I think it was a Ted Talk or Wells Fargo or something; it was before your visual transformation; you’re always beautiful then and now, but it woke me up; it was like a shock to my system. I was near dead with the regular life routine and accepting what people and life gave me and you made me realize I matter and it’s okay to feel like I matter. Thank you.

You have become one of the women I admire more because you have your ego intact. You deserve every success you have and I believe when you say sister, you really mean it. I watch many other speakers and they are great, they help others, however the ones that resonate with me are the ones that have been through the struggle of the deep dark times. The wisest ones know that we are one. You do, I do. Your ability to articulate the winning steps you took, make you a stand out. In my opinion, you are one of the greatest communicators of our time. You have surpassed your mentors in oration skills. Thank you for your life and work. Your greatest days are yet to be, you are just getting started sister.

Wow thank you for this truth of “giving my yes more value by being more comfortable with my NO!” People pleaser - here!🙋🏽‍♀️ I have taught people to expect me to be there and give all my time away because I have all my Yes’s away. I am going to actively apply checking my opportunities with my goals and if it doesn’t serve me for this moment it is a NO! So I’ll be evicting pleasing everybody and the guilt that usually tags along with not pleasing everybody! THANK YOU!!!! The truth you are serving is divine and so necessary! God bless you!

I was lost when I found you Lisa; deep down something was born inside of me. Went through the struggle stage, saving for years and successfully opened my own restaurant, years later lost everything and relocated to start life from square one again; It's hard, but giving up is harder after the privilege to learn from from you; I must say it's impossible to seat down and let the present obstacles or the fear of the future brings me down again. Am grateful for being alive and your words do give me the fuel, the light and the strength, I needed to start afresh. I pray God's blessing to make my son proud one day with what I've accomplished. I won't let my present situation break me again or my past hunt me down or my unknown future keep me stuck in fear...We are born warriors and if God is with us ; who dare be against us.... When it's divine timing; even the devil will obey God's will to be done. Thank Lisa! 😍 God bless you Carmy

I am literally one of those people that needed this. I lost my job and my father last year when my son was a month old and I had no savings because I just had my baby, It was distressing a lot but I knew this was my opportunity to find myself. In the journey of finding me, I learnt what I did at university wasn't what I loved even at work I felt distressed and unhappy, I just didn't understand what I was doing there but I was living my life as defined by society. I'm currently starting an online boutique and I just was scared of not succeeding after giving up my career and I often feel like people surrounding me do not really understand what I am doing after listening to you guys, I believe that my foundation is built with concrete. Thank you

YES, YES, YES! The chattering voices. This is right on point, but here's how to focus better: The next time you hear chattering voices in your head and you're trying to mentally shut them up; focus on the sound of the voice. Is it a masculine voice, a feminine voice? Is it a voice of a child? A masculine child? A feminine child? Is it a cartoon character voice or the voice of one of your favorite movie actor or actress? I pay attention to ALL my thoughts and I've found an old commercial that was playing over and over in my head from childhood! Every experience is in you. Without all our experiences who are we? By understanding what voice is speaking to you will help you eventually find YOUR voice and after you learn YOUR voice you'll be able to better understand how to cypher your thought processes and be great!

I'm sure I've said this before but it bears repeating. Dear Lisa, God knew who to trust with this! You are so genuinely self aware and gracious that it begs others to seek that kind of love for themselves. I've known that there was gifts I was responsible to share on a field much bigger than the field I was comfortable playing on. But I NEVER fully accepted, forgave and gave myself permission until I joined this tribe. S&W2017 was like a coming out party for me and I can't thank you enough. Because of what I learned watching this show and then being in the room in San Diego my path has lit up! I was coaching clients less than 2 weeks later after being buried under shame and fear for over 14 yrs! Thank you and God Bless you! I'll always consider this my home. Always. #LoveMyTribe

I needed to hear how it is okay to forgive yourself over and over again. How when you treat yourself with your needs, that is what you show the world to be an example for. How value comes from yourself and not from others. I am still on the early stages of getting there, but listening to your words make me believe that every step I am getting closer to the person I have always been. Thank you

I had to keep pausing this video to write things down. I made a list of the lies I tell myself (and in parentheses, what is my truth). I wrote down what I want to create (and have my tribe hold me accountable for) in my financial life and relationship life. I wrote down what's been working for me to get me the success that I've gotten so far, and how I can take it to the next level. And I put a sticky note on my bathroom mirror reminding me to look at myself each day in the mirror and forgive myself for at least 7 things. SO MUCH GOLD in this video!! Thank you!!

This is a comment I have been planning to write for the longest time since I discovered Lisa Nichols. To introduce myself, am jarkie from Kenya, yeah in Africa, the first time I listened to Lisa was when she was be in interviewed and my mind was so blown, my #BOL came out inform of tears and how sobbed, being a person that was emotionally reactive, always playing the victim and playing a back role, a supporting role in my own life film. Since I listened I sort out to not have it that way any more, I was riddled with depression and feeling sorry for myself. Lisa, you got me to believe in myself, accept myself and for once in my 23 years love myself fully inside and most especially outside. Through this journey that happened all through the half part of 2018,i have achieved internal peace I have never experience, I have confidence I have never had, I have wisdom I knew I had but was hidden by all the frustration. Lisa, you helped me recognize all the voices in my head that reduced me, a person meant for so much greatness to a person that thought my life was worthless, a person that thought about taking their life so many times and had even settled for harming themselves. Lisa, now I smile like smiling is how I breath, now I intentionally choose to have a great everyday I wake up, now I take a step back before reacting and believing that I am the author and I choose how my story plays out. I have not had a depressive episode in almost an year, I praise myself and my body every time I look in the mirror. Every Monday before I start a new week, I charge myself with your classes, and from that I get a phrase to work on and live by that week. I have even started working out for myself, to balance waves and channel the negative energy, something I would never have done. Lisa, you took my hand and lifted me out of a pile of nothingness that I had created that I thought was a place I will never get myself out. Lisa, you showed me that that pile was just my creation, and being imprisoned there was my choice and I got break out anytime I wanted, If I choose to. Lisa, you helped me wipe off all the negatively charged labels I had put in myself, and you helped me see that am only as weak as the label I choose to live under. Lisa, you helped me work through all the negative self talk, and now I evict them and I choose to address what fear voices out by the knowledge and skills I have achieved. Lisa, you helped me come to a place of peace in order for me to accept my purpose in this life. Lisa, you helped me allow myself to accept the mission to touching and changing lives through how I live my own. Lisa, you helped me revolutionize my life. Lisa Nichols, thank you so much, so so much for helping me truly see myself. Thank you
