Big up yourself Teach Dem, ya reach dem. This is one conversation I’ve been wanting to hear for a very long time. You brought out the best of him as you always do. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him building and recording tracks on the uk and found him to be a very humble individual, no ego and with a heart within the art. The maestro Paul Henton aka Computer Paul.

I am so impressed by Computer Paul's musical abilities and how he carries himself in a humble down to earth manner. He remembers those who have helped him on his music journey but I'm even more impressed at the way he has invested in the youth of his area via his musical lessons. You never know but he may be responsible for the next sly n Robbie/ steelie n Cleavie etc. Many others in his position would never do what he has done and nuff respect is due to him.

Great and informative interview Teach. As a sound man from back in the days. I noticed Paul has a piece of equipment there called Effectron one of the first computer like equipment we used our sound. It did many different things. We use to hook it up to our mic 🎤 and turntable and add an echo delay to the sound. It bad !

So very important to hear from our geniuses. Before this interview, Computer Paul as just an important name that I heard several times, including mentioned in at least one record. I like his story about how he was introduced to music through the influence of his mother's piano and the one at KC. He expanded from that to be very rounded. And I also enjoyed the story behind how Computer became attached to his name. With all his impressive achievements, I have a feeling that the work he has been doing, teaching children about music, will turn out to be one of his most important achievements.

The sad thing is - that they do not make them like Paul anymore😔😔 A TRUE Musician whose love for MUSIC supersedes the love of money! God knows MUSIC the ART is in a trash bag presently as everyone dips into it for QUICK MONEY. No one cares about the art and its effect on people. Paul still believes he can make a difference and he is, little by little, one student by student, through his foundation and music academy, Paul is an ICON whose name and memory will last way past his time on earth. Happy to know him and a member of his family!

Computer production is much easier and forgiving than analog production. In analog production it’s about creating the music and the sound. In computer music, it’s about reproduction and manipulation of samples.

Dictionary picture of a Humble Genius shows Mr. Hinton's face.... Historically, most Musician/producers hit the top, consistantly, especially one who is also an engineer, sadly there are much more none musician/producer today, even if they are engineers. their music lacks the soul Computer Paul speaks with, .outside of the original Alpha music school, there is none that has this experience to offer the next generation of Reggae musicians, producers and engineers in Jamaica today for the continuenity of tomorrow's reggae music
